Early Access Review
With the announcement that active development has been cancelled (in an official statement, but we've known for a while now considering they hadn't updated the game or even said anything in like, a year) and that the game will no longer be purchasable or even playable for those who already purchased the game, this review is more-so directed towards Systemic Reaction as developers and publishers rather than their game. It would've been one thing if they'd just released a tiny update and called it 1.0 before giving up like some early access games do, but no, they've gone the extra mile and chosen to wipe the game off the face of the planet so that no one can even play it.

Many of us purchased the game in its early access state because we saw potential in what the game had and wanted to support it so that it would be completed and released in a fully realized experience. The whole point of early access games is that they would be continuously developed until they can be considered finished, yet remain available to play while they iron out bugs that the community reports. Instead, what we payed for was something that did not develop much at all, and was instead abandoned and then taken away. I never even got my money's worth out of the game because they never fixed the grueling performance issues that made the game unpleasant to play.

The lack of proper updates in general was bad enough, but this? Who in their right mind would buy another Systemic Reaction game when we know now that they're willing to just give up, take the money they got from their hopeful fans, take the game away from them, and just make another game that they'll probably pull the same stunt with?

Broken promises, neglect, and violation of trust. Systemic Reaction has failed us despite our support, and I'm not the only one who will cease to support them and enable their gross incompetence any further.

My friend streamed this with me on call. I got jumpscared by a watermelon as he tried to use rocket, breaking the game at the same time. We waited for the timer to run out just to comprehend what the hell had just happened. We're not happy. We're very uncomfortable, we're very scared, and we just want to go home.
The game's not very good, 2/10

Early Access Review
This game is great in many great ways, personally gives me some arcade-y vibes in some ways, runs well, is satisfying to play, and seems to be pretty hard to be frustrated by.

The visuals, the puzzles, pretty much everything in this I'm loving. Relatively short, but I'm still really impressed.
