Pros:
1. The story is an entertaining piece as it's dark and gritty, while keeping itself levelheaded as it doesn't exaggerate or downplay during the entire game.
2. The story's uses an excellent mix of Cila's development and surrounding conflicts of it's dystopian world, as it involves humanism, rebellion, and human x android legalities.
3. Depending what choices you make, the story can take a dramatic turn of events with each route having information involving Cila or Mara specific to what you chose.
4. The endings are not absolute as they leave hope and lets the player imagine the characters' future or speculate for a sequel.
5. The characters are all unique as Cila is unmotivated and lives a dull life, Mara is lively and emotional, with the side characters being with their own identifying personalites.
6. Cila's character growth is exceptional as through time she goes from an unhappy, irritable person to someone who put the past behind and has something in her life.
7. Mara's development is heavy in the epilogue but her true colors shine as her differences help build Cila throughout the entirety of the game.
8. Even the smallest of characters that appear in one or a few scenes, they're given life enhancing the scene and their interaction with the main characters.
9. The character interactions never feel dull, even in idle scenes such as car rides or briefings, the characters all radiate some sort of emotion whether it be verbally or physically.
10. The design is absolutely astounding. You are greeted with the trailer (which serves as the game's opening) upon start up of the game, and everything remains the same quality as you saw in that opening. The main menu screen heavily fits with the theme along with the options and gallery screens.
11. The UI is quite well done as the buttons are non-invasive as it's a small toggle on the top right of the textbox. It also features the option to change the color either from white or red. Another point is that it also fits in with the cyberpunk theme is it looks like it's coming from a holographic HUD from a helmet or cybernetic eyes. During dialogue it also uses character portraits, but Synergia enhances it by including a second character portrait on the right while dimming or lightening the portrait of who is speaking.
12. When looking at the (save/load, gallery, options) screens, they are designed with care and precision to the cyberpunk theme alongside Cila being a cop. These screens present themselves as files, lab results, or evidence recordings to simulate looking at a screen as a character themself.
13. The artwork fits in well with the neon colors as they nearly all dress in dark and dreary colors, (as Mara states in one scene), minus the androids who wear white or sport white hair differing from the darkness of the others. Colors may also be a subtle detail as in the ending art, it's bright with a drastic lowering of neon red or gray.
14. The CG artwork is great as it's quite frequent and varies from docile bed time to fight scenes, it all looks gorgeous and makes the experience much more meaningful.
15. Some visual novels do silhouettes for minor characters, however for Synergia a majority of them have their own unique detailed sprites, even for some background characters. Projekt Melody and Mei-Lin Mak (Sense - 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story) also make cameos in one scene.
16. Synergia's world is littered with information to help build it and bring some independent background to our characters, it features segments where you can check inboxes, read the news, search lab results, or a diary. A very neat way to implement information rather than just being fed it.
17. The sound design is by far a small detail but it does so much. With ambient rain effects outside and inside a structure, to sounds you'd hear while gearing up for a mission, or just a door slam, it all makes the scene that much better.
18. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. It uses the Synergia theme but with different tones and instruments depending on the situation while some are their own tune, but it all fits in SO WELL in the world. The main theme radiates self conflict while building up into something intense, it screams Cila so well. Even with the different tones and instruments used, each have their own part for each scene they are in, greatly enhancing the experience.
19. Contains Steam achievements and trading cards.

Cons:
1. Minor issues like wording or an accidental calling "Sal" as "Salt", no points deducted, very miniscule.

Conclusion:
Synergia is a beautifully crafted cyberpunk visual novel that balances out character relationships and having them flow smoothly in the story. The world building is astonishing and the design is carefully done to have the cyberpunk feel to your entire experience. Along with an absolutely wonderful art style and soundtrack to further enhance the already great experience.

Score: 10/10 MASTERPIECE + GOLD STANDARD
