Fun game. I followed this game's development from the start and even played an old beta build. It's come so far since then. I have only played a bit so far and I'm addicted to all the little challenges and unlocking everything. Fun game to play to kick your feet back and relax after work.

I was excited for this game but honestly, it's just not fun. It''s repetitive, the world feels empty, and combat is unfun. Not to mention all the performance issues.

Fun game. Has some issues. Some minor graphical glitches. I wish there were more game modes and maps available. Also, so much is locked behind the battle pass. I wish we could just pay a one time fee and not have to deal with battle pass stuff. Also the levelling is really slow. Other than that, the game is fun, has the Halo feel, and I can't wait to see it improve as it goes on.

At this point, I feel like I'm just paying Freebird Games to give me clinical depression.

This game is a beautiful masterpiece. The way it layers on the mystery until it all clicks into place is just *french kiss*. Like always the music, the writing, the humour, and the storytelling are perfect. The characters may be fictional, but the emotions are real and tears were shed multiple times during the playthrough. I feel like I lived through three different lifetimes over the five or so hours it took me to beat this game. I can't really say what the game is about without spoilers but just do yourself a favour and play it.

One thing to note, while they devs do say you don't need to play the previous two games, I would highly recommend you do so before this game because it will make the experience that much better (and those two are fantastic games in their own right so worth playing anyway). Overall, even though I still do think To The Moon is my favourite of the series, this game is still a definite buy and I can't wait to see what else Freebird Games has in store for the future. I'm a day one buy for all future games for sure.

This game was made by two dear friends of mine so I'll try to be unbiased during this review.

This game is a legitimately fun game to play. The way the game eases you into the game with the first few levels before increasing difficulty is balanced really well. The difficulty seems hard but also fair in a sense that you you get room to trial and error and try various methods in order to complete each level. The ability to select your weapons, gadgets, equipment, etc. adds a lot of replayability to the levels to see how much faster and more efficiently you can do it and what the best tools are for each level. In terms of the game play, the best comparison I can make is with the Hotline Miami series. If you've played those games, it will feel very familiar in terms of how it's a level-based top down shooter. That doesn't mean the game is a copy of Hotline Miami. Far from it. The developers have definitely made a unique game with their own spin on the genre and it feels like a fresh experience. In terms of bugs, features etc. although I encountered some bugs initially, the developers are very responsive and will take your feedback and implement any bug fixes necessary as they come up. They've already had a day one patch with bug fixes and some quality of life improvements and are constantly updating and supporting the game to make sure it's fun to play, free from bugs and glitches, and tweaking mechanics to better suit people's preferences and feedback.

I would say give this game a try. At $5 it's well worth it and you'll be supporting indie developers who made this game with a passion. They've worked hard on the game for over a year and deserve any feedback about their first ever game so they can continue improving and making better games in the future.

I never played the originals on DS even though I always wanted to. I always saw the memes for this series and the OBJECTION. I saw the entire trilogy on sale and decided to finally give this series that I've been wanting to play as a kid a try. What a great experience I had. Although these games are visual novels with very simplistic point and click gameplay, the story lines and the cases are phenomenal. The characters are also great and each one of them is unique. Edgeworth especially gets such great character development and really shines through as one of the strengths of this series. The game also has a great way to insert humour into what would otherwise be really tense situations especially when they involve murder, blackmail, etc. The music is also not something to discount. The game's soundtrack is always on point with the right music in the right situation and it's quite good too. Different characters have different themes and motifs and really makes the game world feel alive. Finally there are the actual cases. Whenever I played a case, I couldn't stop playing or go to bed until I solved it. There's such a great sense of satisfaction when you finally figure out what the real truth is and an even greater sense of satisfaction when you use the evidence to get a confession and see the real criminal break down. Now my only wish is to have get the rest of the games in the series get a PC release including games not yet localized (AHEM Investigations 2). You know those will be day one buys for me. If you're a fan of detective/investigation/mystery games, especially if you wanna get lost in the story and have characters feel alive, give this game a try.
