lets start with the good parts: the new maps and skins are beautiful, the art is very well done and if this update was just a map and skin pack, it would be a good update. some of the items are also quite fun to use, the sales star for example being able te double your red items on stage 4 making more combinations possible.

most of the new items however are absolutely useless or even work against you by diluting the item pool and not syncing with anything, for example the antler or knockback fin, not a single character or item actually synergises with these and they lower the chance to get an actual good item like mocha just by existing.

new boss is fine, the animations look clunky though. the boss is however, incredibly hard compared to when you fight him (stage 4) compared to mythix at stage 6. unless you are a godly gamer with good rng, you are best off looping once before fighting him. (although this might just be a skill issue on my part)

the new characters: I love the seeker, it has an interesting concept abd is well executed, the abilities are new and refreshing although it is pretty much just a better artificer.
chef feels strange to use, because of its cooldown on the primary is can not deal consistent damage and the m2 has too little range to use against floating enemies. but i do not dislike him.
lastly the secret character, is looks great but feels like a mod, its mostly a combination of loader and mercenary but buffed and is quite easy to play, the growth mechanic is interesting but could be explained in his overview.

and now the bugs: oh my god the bugs, there are just too many to count.here follow just a few I've encountered in about 10 hours of playing this dlc:
bosses surviving on 0 hp,
enemies phasing through walls,
can't pickup items,
looping multiplies items bij 1000,
enemies falling through the stage,
wrong music playing,
music at max volume at startup,
insane enemy spawns,
enemies shooting through walls,
and i could go on and on.

This dlc has not been properly tested or is even finished. the characters and stages are cool but that is just about the only good part of this dlc, I would not reconmend buying untill the game is fixed.

more addictive than crack

best 20 euros i've spent in a very long time.

play it. it's great.

free smash clone, pretty fun sometimes when you have nothing else to do. have some fun with friends.
