Path of Exile 2 is a commendable reboot that makes the game more accessible for newcomers, building upon the depth of its predecessor. While the in-game trade system can be cumbersome, integrating the Overwolf PoE Overlay II enhances the trading experience. Implementing multifactor authentication would further bolster account security, especially in light of recent breaches. Overall, Path of Exile 2 has the potential to become a standout title in the action RPG genre.

This has potential, the year doesnt really feel like a year but that's just parameters for a game.. it's quite interesting to advance through the tech, recruiting more people etc

Very nice rendition of 5E ruleset, the adventures are nice and fluid, not for the controlling player who likes to keep on top of everything.. some events _will_ go past you, like a group decides to head out without waiting for you if you take too long or a dialogue forces you to get rid of one group member. However, in a very baldur's gate ( Palturin Portti in Finnish ) -true style, these unforeseen events usually spin the story in unexpected but interesting ways.

Give it 6 months, it's still too much in development. The engine itself is pretty good, but the UI is horrific still, it's hard to plot interplanetary transfers due to silly stuff like line widths and zooming/panning functions, the UI to build ships bugs out constantly when switching parts around with different symmetries and complex fuel staging. Stuff really does work worse than it did in KSP1 ( but that's a game that had years to smooth out the rough, it wasn't that good on release either )

So give it a few months, I know it's hard to do after waiting this long and it being this close, but the publisher needs the message.

edit 1: after patch 1, it's a lot more stable! getting to the moon didn't induce kraken a single time, but there's still major problems while building a ship. example: build a main rocket, attach 4 liquid side boosters to it and start building a classic asparagus staging ( 2 tanks feed the 2 other tanks that feed the center tank, when launching one set empties first, you ditch them, then the next set empties, you ditch them.. ), there's no way i could find to stage the different decouplers in pairs in the VAB, this only works if you add them 2 by 2 to the main rocket which causes problems with symmetry and alignment.

Getting there but not quite there yet, give the VAB some love (and for the love of god, get rid of the sparks and animations on attachment, i'd rather have a non-laggy VAB than a pretty one)

edit 2: patch 2 looks promising, apparently the problems with fuel lines and struts might be solved once it drops, stay tuned!

edit 3: so, patch 2 is out, still can't build an asparagus staged rocket properly.. you can, but you end up making stuff manually 1-by-1 as symmetries don't work as expected. Now the fuel lines act a little better but nu-uh, it's still a wobbly mess, once you strut it together, it might work.. I expect some kerbalism, but this is too much.

edit 4: science came out, but then the inevitable happened, take 2 is a destroyer of everything fun, now they've laid off the devs and keep selling a completely unfinished product and we're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck, wasted money, abandoned (fantastic) IP..

Elon, care to buy this IP out and let the devs continue working? Would be a service to the space community, I've taught 5th graders physics and how rockets really work with the help of KSP.

Bit linear, but entertaining and pretty.. mechanics require a bit of thought, make sure to read a few build guides to better understand how your class works and use it to the best of your ability

Simply fantastic game with incredible amounts of things to discover, frustrating at times and simplistic at others but overall.. 100 hours in and still enjoying myself, still not into NG+ even :D

I have no idea how this game can be 'overwhelmingly positive'.. there doesn't seem to be much of a game here at all, 1000s of ways to ruin your colony with no tips or pointers on how to avoid this.. it's as much fun as running downhill blindfolded, wishing you won't step into a hole and break your leg.
