A classic.

As much as this game is very dated, with some unclear level design at various points in the game, it is a must play if you enjoy the Half-Life series. WIth the latest release of Half-Life: Alyx, I've chosen to return to this classic since I don't have access to VR. It may not be as great as Alyx, but it sure is great!

If you enjoy the Half-Life series, or wish to experience a gaming time capsule, you should definitely try this classic!

This game is nothing but pure fun.
I absolutely love playing this game.
The soundtrack is great, keeps you on your feet and pumped. The game is extremely simple, smooth and satisfying to play. Get in, kill, die, repeat. As boring as this may sound, it is incredible. Finding patterns in the different levels, to help you make progress faster is the best feeling. Trying your best to save ammo, while you're also trying to keep up the pace and your combos. Finishing levels is extremely satisfying.
With all of that being said, I do have one negative: I experienced several crashes while playing. I would open up the game, start a level, play for 30 minutes (completing different stages of the level), have the game crash, and then losing the progress of the stages I had completed. This did ruin the game- experience at some points, but you would've learned the previous stages enough to almost drift through them. When you experienced a crash more than one time on a level, it did however become quite annoying.
This is just a small comment to the developers, but since HM2 is out, I don't expect this to be fixed.

TL:DR - BUY THIS GAME! It is fun, it is action-packed, It is satisfying AND it has a great soundtrack.

So where do I start?
I like walking simulators, I find them interesting and often very pretty and relaxing, however, TIMEframe is something different.
The game takes about 60-90 minutes to complete, it has an interesting concept, and hints at what could be a good story. The game however is very boring.
There are the 14 (+1) places, which all tell unique stories, hinting at the bigger pictures. But the walking space between those places have absolutely nothing. Over 90% of the world contains nothing of interest. No small details, maybe a couple sad flowers. This matched with the very slow walking speed and quite slow music, makes the walking distance between the different locations very long and tiring. The soundtrack to this game was very pretty, this was one of the few redeemable points.
When playing I also had a crash twice (both within the first 15 minutes). These crashes happened, as soon as I arrived at an artifact and pressed 'A' (controller). I'm sure this is fixable randomSEED

Summary: The game wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either, ... It was an interesting idea, with some redeemable locations here and there, but the time limit made you rush through them, to get to the most locations before 'it' happens. The graphics and music weren't enough to save the game, and all in all it very quickly became boring.

Even though I love to support smaller developers and recommend their games to friends and peers, I sadly wouldn't recommend this game. There truly is potential here randomSEED, keep trying!s

This was a very fun puzzle game, with some challenging platforming here and there.
The puzzles were unique, and had some fun mechanics.
The pixelart was detailed and pretty.
The levels were fun and innovative.

All in all, I really enjoyed this game. It took me about 6 hours to 100% it, and I enjoyed almost every second of it.
There were one or two puzzles were i thought: "How would anybody even have known that?" But so few, that it didn't change my overall enjoyment of the game!

Even though I didn't find the artwork all that interesting, since it really isn't my style, it was still a very enjoyable game. I completed it in a little under an hour, but for the price of 50 cents, I can't complain.
It was a fun game, with SOME interesting puzzles. There were quite a few that you just skimmed through, not even realising it was a puzzle.
The story, ... boring, cliché, didn't really add much to the game, but the puzzles that made you feel challenged made up for this.
I've managed to get all the achievements, which didn't add more than 30 minutes to the original playthrough, so if you're into the 'get as many games with 100%' I would recommend this game.
All in all, I enjoyed it, and the price of less than one euro is fair, for such a short game.

This game is hella fun. Whether you choose the pacifist or the murderous route, you will have a blast everytime.
Highly recommend it!
