A true veteran of the fandom. Indeed, It's quite likely my parents were still in elementary school while you were already enjoying some classics (Astroboy?). I only arrived on this blue planet in 1996, and it would take another 15 years for me to truly learn to appreciate Anime and Manga as something distinct from (and, in my opinion, superior to) western cartoons and comics. And now, in my twenty-first year, I have begun to really go back and seek out the movies and shows that made anime what it is today. Or rather: the anime that are to be taken seriously as unfortunately nowadays, many studios seem to focus too much on cheap fanservice and sex appeal.

Now, I'd like to ask you whether you could recommend some classic films to this interested youngster?
