So good. Seems simple at first but snowballs into a complex text-based politics simulator.

Good for modders, bad for average players.

If you want to mod the game with new content, learn Enfusion for the upcoming Arma 4, or be on the cutting edge tech in general, buy this.

If you are an average player wanting hours of vanilla content and missions to play it, avoid it.

In my case, I want to mod so I like it. Albeit, I am on Linux so there is little compatibility with Arma Reforger Tools. At least the game works fine on Proton.

I did not find the game any better than the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shooter games that it satirizes. The novelty of the weirdness wears off quickly. Dialogue is repetitive, vague, and uninteresting. I always heard others hail the music of it, its "slurpcore" but I rarely heard it in the game.

The worst part is the gunplay, which is a mix between Quake and stealth shooters. Issue is the enemies are mostly hit-scan, making the quake like moving pointless because you cannot avoid their fire. Rather, you left to hugging corners and sniping over and over.

A must-buy on the same level as Garry's Mod. Both cheap, both always on sale, and both platforms for many different types of games.

Arma 3 is much like an old car. It's slow, it's dirty, it's full of your own stains, decor, and memories. And you love it. Arma 3 is a very well made infantry-based military simulator that can easily adopt real life military tactics. It has its own dedicated community that can help guide to achieve whatever you want from the game.

If you enjoy games with deep cooperation and use of real-life tactics then this game will live in your collection well.

The simulator gives you the experience of being a soldier in 2009, attacking Chernarus Insurgents. In addition to the terrorist, you get to see your douchebag leader Miles die.

All about explosions, customizations and women. Lots and lots of women.
