I'm speechless. I've just finished the game. It's... It's amazing. It's adorable. It's fantastic.
First of all, ( kinda useless part ) I don't know why but it was the first game I decided to install with my EA Play. I didn't know anything about this game, didn't even know that it existed. But when I was looking at available games in EA Play, I saw this, read "about" section and immediately fell in love. "Solitude" is literally my lifestyle so... If you know that feeling, you know what I'm talking about.
So, back to the review. This game is a masterpiece. The story, the graphics, the soundtrack, the voice acting - I like everything about it.
First things first - The story
When you start playing this game you don't understand a thing. Literally. Why are you in the middle of the sea, why are you in the boat? And most importantly - WHY THE MAIN CHARACTER IS BLACK AS COAL WITH JUST FIRE EYES??? I guess... It's okay asking yourself about it when you launch the game for the first time ever. But the more you play SoS the more you understand it. You realize that Kay is a monster. Like her parents and brother. And the problem of it... unsurprisingly... the disregard. People only care about themselves. They don't hear others. They... They live only for themselves without realizing that there are people who need help. When Key's brother was trying to get her attention because he NEEDED HELP, she didn't really care. She was texting with her BF all the time and when the poor brother came to her like "hey, I've been bullied in school again. I'm the problem. Maybe... I should stop living?" she didn't even hear that. She was like "oh yeah yeah, hahah". And it caused brother to become a monster. He had no one to talk with. He literally had no one rely on. Even on himself. Family members had a lot of arguments too. They were yelling at each other without understanding what a problem is. They could talk about it. But instead, they chose arguing. And Key realized all of this only when she became a monster herself. She's trying to fix everything. And it's the point of the game .
Sorry If i took so long. Just had a lot of thoughts writing this. Just... Please. DON'T IGNORE OTHER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS. JUST LISTEN TO THEM. IT'S NOT THAT HARD FOR YOU, BUT IT CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING. YOU LITERALLY CAN SAVE THEIR LIVES. PLEASE. IF "SOMEONE" TALK TO YOU, THROW YOUR PHONE OUT AND GIVE YOUR 100% ATTENTION TO "SOMEONE".
Okay, the next one is graphics. I don't really care that much about it when I play games but SoS is really delightful. It looks great. I can't complain about graphics. My eyes were satisfied.
The soundtrack. Oh boy... OST reminded me of INTERSTELLAR. Yes, I'm not kidding. Why so? The answer is simple - it's remarkable. This soundtrack makes you feel it. You feel the emotions of Kay, you feel everything.
The voice acting. . I don't know... It's impressive. Again - you feel it. You feel when the characters are happy, sad, angry, whatever. YOU. FEEL. IT. While I was writing this, I found out that a lot of people complain about it . I totally like the Kay's voice acting. It made me nervous sometimes. I just... I just felt like she was talking to me personally. I don't know why people keep saying something like "Could be 10/10 but the voice acting ruined everything". For me it was perfect. No more words to say.
And yes. YOU SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME IN HEADPHONES TO GET EARGASM
Talking about cons...
I'm a controller player For me it was the only one problem - boat controls and camera in general. When you move your camera so that your boat is back to front, it's really hard to move the boat. You press forward but it goes backwards, you press left - it goes right. So you need to change the camera angle before you can go normally.
But anyway, it's 10/10 from me.
Also, I think it's a little bit overpriced for a single-player game with ~3 hours of gameplay. Totally worth it with EA Play though.

Yes, I recommend this game but...
But WTF is this?? I've started my first game 6 years ago. Didn't understand any thing. I've been playing with my friend (who has 9.6k hours rn btw). He was kinda my coach. 324283947 explanations but i'm still wondering what to do. I guess this game is way too hard for me. Also, this genre is not my cup of tea.
But anyway, this is a great game where you have to think smart to make right choice. IMHO, this is not the game where you can just chilling and your team is keep carrying anything. In CS:GO it's easier to win 4:5 situation than here. Maybe my opinion is based on my 1300 hours in cs, idk xD.
So. Great and hard game. Maybe I will try Dota 2 again someday. Guess, I'm gonna suck again lmao

Despite all the negative reviews this game has, I totally recommend it. Yes, I admit that physics is weak but back to the 2014 - we didn't have any game like Forza Horizon. So, it was kinda a good "copy" if I can say that.
* Enormous map that requires you spend 30-40 minutes (maybe more, haven't played this game game lately) just to go from corner A to corner B. I could say states of USA instead of corners but idk them lmao.
* Not so big choice of cars but it's okay. I've had a lot of fun with them
I'm not a real reviewer tho. That's my first experience writing something really long.
Anyway, I like this game. All hours I've spent in it, were worth it. If you're uncertain about buying a game like that, I would rather recommend buy The Crew 2. It's better imho.
But if you have some extra money, you should take a closer look at Forza Horizon 4. Ngl, this is the masterpiece itself
