POINTS TO CONSIDER BEFORE PURCHASING OR INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT.

This is a review made after getting the 100% of the progress.
We can say that Counter-Strike 2 is on its way to being the definitive version of the franchise, it managed to surpass all its predecessors and is crowned the best competitive first-person multiplayer tactical shooter of all time.
If you are very interested in the game I recommend you to buy the Prime Status, with the semanal drops you will be able to recover the money spent.

Please don't cheat.

Positive Points:
  • VALVe.
  • Break the gameplay cliche that many Tactical FPS games have.
  • Excellent movement.
  • Fun gunplay and recoil.
  • Very balanced economic system.
  • Great soundtrack.
  • Semi-Casual and competitive community.
  • The official maps always get updated to be well balanced.
  • Great communication with teammates in competitive.
  • Drops that cost real money in the community market.
  • The workshop have amazing content like maps for play and training.
  • The game and theme of each map is visually beautiful.
  • There's an exaggerated amount of cool community skins (I hate skins).
  • Volumetric smokes that no FPS has.
  • Sub-tick system.
  • Well optimised game and engine.
  • Good looking weapons.
  • Few bugs, none of them important.

Negative Points:
  • Missing content from previous CS Games (retake, Danger Zone, Demolition, Flying Scoutsman, VIP and Team deathmatch).
  • Missing maps from CS:GO (Tuscan, Train, Cobble, Cache, Assault, Militia).
  • Hostage mode isn't working competitively at this point.
  • Italy isn't in the competitive map pool.
  • Players only play 3 of the 8 maps in the map pool (Dust II, Mirage and Inferno), this is due to the fear they have of losing rank and learning new maps.
  • Connecting with the previous point, the community maps never take center stage in the map pool.
  • There is no incentive to play new maps like daily and weekly missions.
  • The current anti-cheating system has a lot of vulnerabilities and is very frequent to find "bad actors".
  • Sometimes the community get very toxic for nothing and causes new players to end up having a bad experience.
  • The ranking system is unpredictable.
  • The agents and the knifes without skins should be for free.
  • It doesn't have a campaign mode.
  • It doesn't have Achievements.
