I wasnt sure what to expect from this game. I recently have been playing Against the Storm, but it didnt really have the depth of gameplay I was looking for. I was instantly hooked on this in the first 5 minutes. The game is already a lot of fun, but I also see a lot of potential for the future. As a long time fan of Warcraft (3) series, this feels very similar in the way it plays and I love that. Cant wait to see where this goes

I really love this series, in fact, I would go as far as to say that I have gotten more attached and more emersed in this story and its characters than the actual show. Clemitine is such a fun and interesting character who combines the best elements of children and adults. If you enjoy the walking dead, and playing games that dont mind putting gameplay aside to tell a story then you will enjoy this.

There are a lot of things that are very impressive in this game, let alone for a game that is in alpha. I think what makes this alpha so interesting, as well as the game overall, is that it is built upon some very refreshing and exciting core mechanics.

Some of these are Realistic Gathereing & User interfaces, crafting/building, inteligent A.i. and dynamic combat. Now its not that those things are new ideas, but how they are being utilized are. You get an odd amount of satisfaction from chopping down a tree in this game, and the survival guide and blanket inventory system help to create very nice emersion. The native tribe does a very good job of setting the atmosphere as you never feel safe, and you feel like there is so much mystery and backstory to be (created) discovered in the world.

Overall, if you know what to expect from an alpha, I would say pick this game up, help the developers improve it, and enjoy yourself.
