Some of the most fun, satisfying, and infuriating I've had in a long time. While I'd occasionally rage (or fury?) at the game, the controls and gameplay are so precise that I never felt like the game was at fault, only myself - which made the eventual hard earned successes all the sweeter.

The game’s story, while simple and not ultimately the focus of the game, is enough to keep you moving forward with curiosity, all the while enjoying the ample neon style. And lest I forget, the soundtrack throughout the game is simply phenomenal. The music fits incredibly well with the gameplay and consistently adds to each and every fight just as much as the gameplay itself.

Easily earns one of my top slots for favorite games of the year.

I once read Hatchet / Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen and thought "I could do that!" This game proved me wrong :(
