Great game to play solo and even better with friends. A new playthrough every few months to see all the new content is awesome. Get this game!

One of the best, if not the best Survival Horror game.

Base building is easy to understand, simple enough to gather each component to build - with a realistic scale that makes sense. Hunting for resources like food and water are balanced very well, not tedious like in some other survival games which seems like all you do is eat and drink. The horror element is great, cannibals and mutants populate an island - both above on land and below in a pitch black winding cave system.

The visuals are great, adding to the immersion of this survival horror.
Audio is a masterpiece, simple as that. From the sounds of a twig snapping which makes you paranoid, to the screams of the cannibals chasing you down, the audio makes the horror aspect come alive. Try playing a solo session in the cave systems with and without audio to see how well the audio combines these elements.

The Forest has spoiled me in the survival genre, it is very hard for myself to play another game and not compare it to this gem.

Just buy it, you won't regret it.

Easily the best game I've played this year, probably the best in the last few years.
No other game has made me want to replay seconds after finishing the game, 3rd playthrough straight and still going.

So many awesome Single-Player mods (Propesy of Pendor is a Fav) and Multiplayer is insane, medieval CS:GO anyone?
