I have no clue why I like this game. It's very punishing, and you die constantly. The game doesn't hold your hand for anything. Even a trip to the store is a life and death experience.

...And yet I somehow have over 400 hours in this game! That feeling of getting your car to start the first time after you built it from parts is so rewarding. Even the little accomplishments can make you feel good. Something just keeps bringing me back to the game. It's not for everyone, but I was hooked on it from the moment I watched the trailer. If you want a life simulator that you're willing to put some work into, I very much recommend this game. If you like everything handed to you on a silver platter, I'd probably pass. It's not for everyone (I'd also recommend against it if you don't like driving games), but I very much enjoy it.

This is a neat game that deserves a look. I got it because it was pretty inexpensive during the steam sale and it looked intriguing. But I was surprised at how good the gameplay was. It's a 2D black and white side-scroller, but there's so much more to it that it's hard to describe. There's virtually no back story, you're just a boy who embarks on an adventure. But it's so well illustrated that it's hard to put down. There are puzzles that you have to solve to move onward, but most are fairly straightforward. And there is a lot more detail in this game than you pick up on the initial first glance.

Really, the best way to describe this game is probably something along the lines of: You buy this game because it's cheap, and you end up playing it because it's good. When it's on sale for $2.50-$5.00, it's really hard to go wrong with it.
