Really relaxing yet challenging platformer with unique and fluid mechanics and incredible minimalistic design

You have about 12 levels where you basically play in a huge intricate black and white painting which is revealed to you after completeing said level. Which blew my mind more often than not. I often just sat there for minutes looking at the amazing art after finishing a level.

It even has basic 21 by 9 resolution support! Besides some minor pop-in and menu cutting everything works perfectly! Nothing game breaking at all.

Please check out at least the demo if it seems interesting! You have nothing to lose!

It's rare that I post a review, but I just felt really compelled to write at least a little bit about the the game...

First off, I got the game from chrono.gg as one of their daily deals. I nearly didn't because I just glanced over it really quickly and the style wasn't too appealing to me at first. But then I just dropped the few bucks and got it anyway... I have issues, OKAY.

AND MAN am I happy I did! I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it! The story, the writing, the animations it all just felt really good and whacky in the best way and I encourage everyone to just go in blind and discover everything for themselves.
Really weird and cute game that just felt like something new to me and doesn't hold your hand too much. I enjoyed it a lot!

If I had to criticize anything it would be the lack of 21 by 9 resolution support, but I don't know how good that would have worked anyway and it didn't hurt my immersion in any way with this title.

Definitely worth picking up!

Happy whistling!

If you like 3D jump and runs with only minor objectives and a focus on the experience, please don't think about buying and playing it. Just go ahead and enjoy the ride.

Things that stood out to me:
- Lovely music
- Incredibly clean interface/menu
- 100% Ultrawide resoltuion support
- Neat graphics

I haven't had as much fun in an online PvP since Loadout and after the MASSIVE winter update all my problems are gone. Performance has been impoved a lot, visual clutter got toned down a lot and it's over all just way better. They have put countless hours into it, as well as in all the new content they brought out since release.
Wait times on Steam are SOMETIMES a bit long, because all the people that criticise the game for this are just driving potential players away even more, but there is a community driven Discord server with lots of helpful people always available!

So, you want a DOTA-like FPS with per match leveling, a broad roster of characters with lots of lore to discover, a bunch of singleplayer/coop maps with a lot of replayability and just generally something different? Then give Battleborn a shot and don't get mislead by some of the huge amount of trolls and ill-informed haters.

((After the update all my technical Problems were gone))

I have not played many games lately, but this one is definitely the one that was the most fun for me... FFS I was driving around for an hour in a sports car because it was just so fun. And flying with your wingsuite through the beatiful landscape is just breathtaking and yet again... just simply fun

This is how an open world sandbox game should be! It was definitely much more fun then Just Cause 2 for me, because it has less obnoxious tasks (Finding destruction objects or collectables is way easier) and MUCH better controls and gameplay.

The story is very diverse in objectives and was very fun.

((This game runs pretty well on my system. Near constant 60 FPS while flying or driving around and a few dips to 45 at most when a lot of explosions are everywhere.
My rig for reference:
CPU: Core i7 4790K (not OCed)
GPU: GeForce GTX 980 (OCed)
RAM: 16 GB
Monitor: 3440 x 1440 GSync
I had to ran the game off of an SSD or the load times would be really bad))
