Early Access-recension
ΔV: Rings of Saturn is a space mining game where you hop around the rings of Saturn, gathering ore to sell, upgrade and tune your ship, buy other ships, and follow questlines of the crew members that you hire.

I really love how the game accurately models the physics of flying your ship. Internally, there are many tracked significant statistics of your ship that impact how it moves (or doesn't!). Power and heat generation and balance, reaction wheel RPM, amount of propellant mass. The cargo you carry impacts your center of mass and your moment of inertia and the free chunks jostle around your bay when performing accelerations. If you aren't careful, a deceleration will spew forth the contents of your cargo bay!

The upgrades to your ship(s) are meaningful and they aren't always direct upgrades. A mineral processing unit might offer the fastest and most efficient processing of mineral chunks, but it has an opening that can become jammed and it doesn't offer any recycling of H20 remass to fill your propellant reserves.

I think the tutorial does a good job of introducing your to the game and how it works. Being based on real physics, a lot of it is quite intuitive. For the rest, I've found a good community in the discord, which I would greatly recommend!
The developer (Koder) is very dedicated and is always on the discord looking at recommendations, bug reports, and is constantly releasing experimental versions alongside nearly weekly stable releases.

If I have to critique something, it's that story progress can feel limited / slow at times. I've got over 50 hours in the game (demo time included) and I've successfully completed one storyline. I know you can also align yourself with pirates / anarchists or side with the defacto police force of the rings, The Vilcy, and get a bounty hunting license. But not yet for me.

If an accurate physics sim space mining game under constant update from the developer sounds neat to you, I'd encourage you to check it out. There's a demo too!

^ This demo allows you to play the entirety of the game too!

The game is good. I've got 30 hours in after 5 days and I've only played 3 levels from Hitman 1. It's a fantastic puzzle-stealth game.

There is so much to do on just a single level. When you first drop in, it is confusing and disorientating. You keep on learning. You keep improvising. You eventually realize that yes, you can indeed kill that target in that silly way.

Each level offers a bunch of different challenges for you to complete, such as a myriad of ways to kill your target(s), alongside feats, discovery challenges, and escalation missions (some are good, some aren't fun).
I'll consider adding more to this review as I keep playing.

I played Far Cry 4 *after* playing through Far Cry 5. To come into this game was a breath of fresh air in comparison, and I can definitely understand the criticism that 5 received.

The voiced protagonist, Ajay Ghale, has a reason to be in the Nepal-inspired Kyrat, the setting of the game. All this is set up in the intro, as he is there to spread the ashes of his mother. Ajay is thrusted into a rebellion, which suffers from its own internal conflict.
The Antagonist, King of Kyrat, Pagan Min, is enjoyable and charismatic.
One thing this game does better than the others in the series is the conflict over what is right or wrong. Are you a terrorist? Which is the lesser of two evils?

Gameplay-wise, Far Cry 4 will be familiar to the players of Far Cry 3. The gunplay in this game is one of the weakest aspects, insofar in that it feels older than other shooters I've played. But I can't be mad about it, as it works perfectly fine. My ideal shooting system is the end-product of Battlefield 4, which Far Cry 5 approaches. However the shooting system feels, the guns are more enjoyable than in 5. Different guns have different stats, recoils, accuracies, etc., making each feel at least a little special. I also enjoy the Signature Weapon mechanic, more expensive guns that you work towards.
Stealth-wise, there are versatile options to do it how you feel, though I sometimes get the feeling that enemy perception is too great.
This game includes a small helicopter for aerial travel through the beautiful Kyrat surrounded by Mountains, alongside the typical myriad of wheeled-vehicles, but the little helicopter will sometimes decapitate you if you get out at the wrong time.

Compared to other games, I felt that the collectibles in this game had more meaning. They're all incorporated in the story in some way and I found it enjoyable to roam the country grabbing them. Shangri-La is an amazing piece too, super fun.

Oh yea and the Auto Cross exists. It's a semi-auto crossbow.

The graphics are good. They can be compared to some modern (2020) games. The settings feature some experimental Nvidia options that really tank your FPS, so I recommend that those be turned off.

I took 60 hours to 100% my first playthrough, though there was more I could've done, such as the arena gun-specific rounds (but they don't count towards the game's 100% counter).

Overall, probably an A- game for me.

This game is an unexpected treat among many other action platformers (not to say they aren't good).

Dead Cells manages to have some of the most fluid combat (and movement) I've experienced in a game. When a game has great degree of difficulty and a story told in a discrete way, it will be compared to the behemoth of Dark Souls. It's not incorrect to compare several aspects of this game to Dark Souls.

Difficult combat (though rewarding for those that master the patterns) and a somewhat hidden story are where the similarities end. Dead Cells is what the developers calle a 'RogueVania'. Each time you play through the game you will progress, by collecting Cells from your enemies, which can then be invested into better weapons or skills. Despite this, death is permanent and will send you back to the beginning, with the progress still having been made. There are branching paths and memorization of locations and paths is necessary to some extent.

I don't want to say too much so I will end it here. Go, experience it for yourself!

Terraria is a great game and it has been for years. With 2020 came the final update for Terraria, Journey's End.

I'll focus on one aspect that this game does greatly: You start off weak and develop your character through interacting with the world. The changes to your playstyle and to your power are measurable and pleasurable. You build a character and world from scratch until you have complete dominion over the world and its subjects. It's great!

Edited 2021-11-24: Journey's End was meant to be the last update, but they've kept doing little things. They also recently did a crossover with Don't Starve.
