As a horror and sci-fi fan, this was a delight to play. I 100%'d it. I enjoyed the story and thought they paced things pretty well. I saw one review complaining about not knowing how to do some boss battle and I genuinely don't know what they're talking about lmao. At no point was I confused about any objectives. Some of them are a little tedious if you're not stressed out/scared, but not so much that it ruined the game for me. Overall probably one of my favorite games I own and have played.

Dude what a great game. Definitely my favorite game purchase in a while. I bought this because I grew up on zoo tycoon and loved that, but wanted a modern version that was complete at time of purchase vs sold in pieces of DLC at a time like Planet Zoo. This blows my memory of zoo tycoon out of the water, and I lose track of time while playing. The breeding system is sooooo fun because of how many different combinations there is, the pixel graphics makes it feel cozy and retro, the fact that you can be an evil zoo that has a glue factory on the premises or a good zoo that breeds and releases to boost failing wild populations is a new concept and I appreciate the dark details, the employee system is better, you can customize the animal's diet for health/profit, a healthy bit of random events that are fun/interesting, the list of things i like goes on. It's done pretty well and i'm happy I bought it, probably would have paid full price and gotten it last year if i knew how much fun I was going to have.

The only things i don't like are some of the default keybindings which is easily fixed and rebound, the fact that i can't just save and hop off - it autosaves at night like stardew valley so I'll finish a day and then quit when the new day starts, and how the tutorial doesn't quite explain everything but that's okay that's what google is for. 10/10 from me, I'll probably buy the dinosaur DLC and hope they come out with more. It's nice to be able to buy a DLC because the game is fun and not because I NEED more content.

Hands down my favorite game of 2021. Fun, chill, addicting, and the best thing to play when you're high. It's fun solo, but it's also a lot more fun with more friends because it means more coins are falling and going around. If you have friends that like to get high, y'all should get high together and play this.

Oh, also, you can connect to VRhub and have a waifu following you around the table while you play.

With over 300 hours in the game so far, I can honestly say it's one of my favorites. If you're the type of person to get salty (I play League of Legends, so I'm made of salt), then chances are this game will make you mad at some point. If you're a killer, survivors will pallet loop, body block, flashlight/pallet stun you, and ragequit. If you're a survivor, killers will lag switch, face camp, camp, slug, or focus you. Both sides have OP perks that the other side thinks is unfair, and if you main killer, you'll have to face groups of friends that are all communicating in discord which puts you at a big disadvantage.

Despite all of this, it's a very fun game. The initial scariness has worn off, sure, but the jump scares still get me and make me squeal. The only thing I don't like about it is the new ranking system they implemented a few weeks ago, but I'm getting the hang of it. It's a lot harder to rank now, but if you're not worried about ranks and just want to play, it shouldn't be enough to hold you back.

10/10, would pay full price for this game and buy all the DLCS again.

I wish I could play this indefinitely. I can't believe this is free.
Don't google anything, go in without knowing anything. Fantastic

I'm a college student, and I'm pretty cheap when it comes to games. Every game I own has been bought while it was on sale.

Except for Rimworld.

And it has been worth every penny.

The game continues to grow under the watchful eye of the devlopers, and each update brings something better than the last. Rimworld is one of those games that you boot up to play for 30 minutes, but end up spending 8 hours. Within the first week of buying, I logged 49 hours and spent every possible minute of free time playing. My first tribe died from malaria, my second died from a pyromaniac setting everything on fire while everyone was asleep, and my third was doing aboslutely wonderful until a volcanic winter. I love how prgressively hard the game becomes, and how sometimes it can just get so hard that it's unfair.

I wish there were more games as fun as this one turned out to be.

>First time playing, pick low poulated server
>Hear a mutant within the first two minutes
>Run and hide on a water tower
>Eventually come down cause I'm thirsty
>Spend time hiding in houses and gathering consumables
>Scream when my own hand scares me at the edge of the screen
>Spend 30 mins being scared of my own footsteps
>Find a military base
>Scared cause I can't find other players. All alone.
>Can hear so many mutants but can't see them
>Hide hide hide
>A mutant screeches
>I scream and log off

10/10 would spend two hours being scared again.
