Addition of Malakai Makaisson made dwarfs an unstoppable force of apocalyptic proportions!

Very nice gameplay loop. I've tried several FPS rogue-lites before and at the moment this is the best one!

A great example of a faithfull adaptation for a tabletop game set in Warhammer 40,000 universe! Solid squad-based mechanics with couple of interesting and unique features, intriguing story and, PRAISE THE OMNISSIAH, one of the best soundtracks ever created for a game.

Mechanicus is masterfully crafted and worth every penny.

Typical mobile type grind-fest. There is no plot, no point, no idea or concept. Just get 50 crystals (random drops, obviously) to unlock another hero, 100 points to do this and 500 points to do that. The only difference between this game and your typical mobile cash-grab-trash: there is no "energy" to limit certain actions and I did not get any time consuming actions (like, building will be finished in 24h real time, you know), but that's why they want you to actually pay for this garbage.

Huge disappointment.

13 hours passed. I've just finished the first act, killed the act boss (it was quite a challenge but manageable) and became a baron! Yay!

What can I say? Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a true DnD 3.5 ed. experience so far. Difficult? Sure, to some extend. If you're going the wrong way (with a wrong party, wrong skills, wrong equipment etc.), and expect the game to support your every move you're will be punished. Hard. There is no such thing as monster-leveling so every wrong step could be final (and you will have to... just load the latest autosave\quicksave)! But you have a plethora of places to go instead. To level up, grab some gear, return and break the faces of your enemies!

So. Is this game somewhat hardcore? Yes, it is. (Never actually thought I will see the times when 3.5 edition is called "hardcore" but anyway) It's challenging. You can start with "broken" character just because you've created one wrong. But again, you will realize it pretty quick, which is good.
Is it a flawless game? Nope. Few bugs here and there (nothing gamebreaking so far). Few questionable mechanics. Some descriptions are quite vague and/or confusing.

But if you like DnD 3.5 and Pathfinder, if you like a good story (so far), rich lore, interesting dialogs, challenging fights, dark dungeons and the vibe of new-oldschool RPGs - Pathfinder: Kingmaker is a good choice!
