This is it, this is what horror games should be. This is how you remake a classic game while maintaining the original's atmosphere and tension. Even though I've played the original several times, this still had me enthralled with every encounter and every cutscene. I just wanna say thank you Bloober Team; thank you for re-igniting my passion for a game that I hold so dear. You're a real one.

A breath of fresh air for the stagnant Spider-man games of the past. The webslinging around NYC is addicting, and I find myself not even using the Fast Travel function. The great thing about this is that the game has benchmarks that reward you for hitting travel milestones so you get to get wacky flying around the gorgeous in-game NYC. The combat is smooth and satisfying; taking on 10 men at once never felt better (teehee). My only minor complaint is the MJ stealth missions. They just feel....unnecessary and slow. You'll go from flying around the city and kicking ass to having to hide from the dudes who's asses you were kicking. Other than that, the game feels and play great. If you loved Spider-man 2 for Gamecube and loved the webslinging then you're gonna get a heavy dose of nostalgia.
