What do you get when you combine the tedium of Minecraft, the lighting of Doom 3, the voice acting of Shrek, graphics with fewer polygons than a PlayStation 1 game, and the level design of an indie game? Deep Rock Galactic. The tutorial was so uninformative I literally only progressed by accident when I was trying to kill myself after 20 minutes of not knowing what was expected or what things looked like.

strong disagree on almost every front. If you play matches with one of each class, the tedium is not there, and the lighting is very much intentional, and again, avoidable with good play and one of each class.
The tutorial is there to teach you the ropes, and if digging through a few thin dirt walls or the lighting is an issue for you, frankly idk how you enjoy just about any modern game, which has a lot more 'tedious' content than that. Not to mention the game wouldn't really work without those things.

Take a great game, an underated game, a great movie, an overexageration, and a great thing. You get a good thing. And the tutorial is braindead easy. I skipped it and never struggled.

Add onto that the dystopian business management I play video games to get away from. Management not caring about your safety? Tracking "Key Performance Indicators"? Get me out of here!!!
