I love this game the ambience the setting everything but this is easily the single most punishing rogue like i have ever played
The intelligence you gain through radio messages and your radar is the main issue as it seems to serve no other purpose than just filling the screen
Maybe i haven't learned to use them properly yet but that does not change the fact of

DISCLAIMER: Most of these experiences have been on easy so maybe i just suck

Been spotted without fuel by a transport you didn't know existed?
Good luck shooting down the infinite number of cruise missiles that will inevitably kill you one by one as there is not a pump on earth that can fill you up that fast not that you can see the enemies shooting them anyway

You send an advance party to a city?
Well screw you there's a hunting party with some full size cruisers vs your dinky little corvettes and of course the only indication that those cruisers even exist is a flashing light that says that's right they exist hope you don't find them

You get a radio message about the location of something?
Good luck understanding a thing it says since the direction is about all you can ever make out and that's if it's not encrypted mind you

Spot something on your IR reader?
Good for you, all that usually means is kiss your ass goodbye cause they might as well be sitting on your lap no escaping now as the missiles/planes/ships whichever comes first rip you a new one

As for the actual combat?
I find it quite satisfying and enjoyable
very reminiscent of an old IO game called Islands of War which is infinitely simpler
the only major issue i have with it is the non existent reticle instead what you get is a 5-mm line extending from your ship
Against AI who already get their usual aim bot makes some battles feel immensely unfair as it makes long range engagements ill advised but get to close and the AI's auto aim will tear you in half
The AI's aim can be thrown off with some fancy maneuvers so pray you have something quick but fat chance dodging anything at close range unless you out traverse their guns

The interface is very cool love the aesthetic
But it often gets in the way of itself and sometimes feels too busy
When choosing ships for the start of a campaign you can't see a third of the screen from the ship's information panel
Shipbuilder interface I find to be quite clunky its hard to put into words

I would love to recomend this game but in its current state it makes darkest dungeon look like a cake walk

I have never been so relaxed listening to the soundtrack and playing this game true peace

Noticed this game is on steam now it re-awoke my demons
maybe just maybe starting over might make me enjoy like this game again
funny joke its as ♥♥♥♥ as i remember
ill just play wows where at least being pay to win isnt nearly as egregiously easy and obvious
i'm gonna continue filling this as i experience this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all over again

on an ssd its faster to load into a map than it is the load into the garage quite simply because more than half of the time spent in garage is waiting for the overpriced store to synchronise after every game you lose to encourage spending more money
the game has lost so many players that us west no longer exists and is replaced with us central which is down quite often anyway this happened long before being available on steam
Just got to tier 7 again and fighting overpowered tier 8 premiums is more common than actual tech tree vehicles so simply to say nothing has changed
if you thought the use of premium ammunition was bad at the lower tiers dial that up to an eleven cause who needs to know what and where you can penetrate when you can just turn your brain off and load premium

I'm probably gonna stop playing now and if anything just load up my old account and struggle against tier 8s in my tech tree tier 10s
but who am i kdding Wargaming at this point are just drug dealers they product they sell will keep you coming back even if you know damn well its gonna leave you broke and regretful so yeah ill keep coming back and regret it every time i do dont waste your time take it from the guy who plays world of warships, war thunder and this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
i cant recommend any of these to anyone but i wouldn't use this game on my worst enemy
probably my last update cause i cant be bothered to explain the infinite other issues with all this

One of my favourite games of all time glad to see they still care to some extent even if it did require some encouragement
