I try to get onto steam as much as able too but again, I've been very busy with other stuff. Actually, I intentionally stay away from being online. I'd rather be outside fishing, flying my drone, working etc. One main reason is my mother is aging and struggling. My stepdad will be 91 this may so....you put the pieces together. I can get behind that if they are gifts or if they are tangible things. If the cards were real and you got them on the mail? Sure, why not. Now, spending on virtual cards that are locked to my account and do nothing but give me virtual badges that are locked to my account? No, thanks. You gotta give it to Valve, they are geniuses and are making a LOT of money out of this. I'm just glad I can sell the cards I get and buy games with the money! :P

meh...however it's really not about the PENNIES I spent on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's the entertainment value. I recall going roller skating with my daughter about 3 years ago and I spent about $25.00 on a stupid game where you get only tickets. Then in turn you can "spend" or claim those tickets on prizes. Which the prizes were absolutely JUNK !. But I will tell ya, watching my daughter stand in line waiting with a intense look on her face and looking very proud that her father "won" all those tickets made it all worth while. So basically, I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about spending or giving things away, it's about seeing the happiness on faces and for my own happiness.

No way I'm spending money on virtual cards that mean nothing. Better yet, I sell the ones I get and buy real games with fake money!
