this game almost makes me willing to forgive Rockstar for what they've turned GTA Online into

game crashes after 10-15 minutes of gameplay on RTX 3080 + intel i9 12900k. tried everything under the face of the sun to fix it, and it still does it. it's a shame because it would've actually been a good game, handling wise, as far as i could tell.

this is probably the worst f1 car driving experience you can have in a racing game. you get the frustration that comes with a racing sim and the lack of realism that comes with an arcade racer. if you're not crazy about the career mode, please just buy assetto corsa and the RSS formula hybrid mod. it's an infinitely better driving experience

This is an absolutely brilliant game that the developers keep pouring more and more love into, and it shows. You can do just about anything that involves vehicles, whether it's mindlessly crashing them into each other in absurd scenarios, sim racing, or simply enjoying a sunset drive. To be honest, what really makes this game shine, is its amazing modding community. You can get anything from planes, to boats, to laser scanned racetracks at just the click of a button, and there are amazing forums on which you can talk about said mods, with people who have put genuine effort into making them. However, while I do think that mods greatly improve the experience, this game is incredible even without them, as the developers keep adding and revamping cars, levels, physics, and even graphics.

Overall, I have a huge connection with this game. I have just over 1000 hours on it in the 2-3 years in which I have legally owned it, but I can assure you I have at least 1000 more hours on pirated copies I used to play on since 2015. I essentially grew up with this game, and it makes me genuinely happy to see how far it has progressed. I might sound biased, because I am, but if you want a high quality soft body physics game, do yourself, and the developers a favor and buy BeamNG.drive. You won't regret it.
