I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews but, oh boy, is this bad.

Cool idea for a game but it's executed really, really poorly. Map is detailed but way too condensed, as in everything is stacked too close together (enemy bases, safehouses etc.). There are some interesting weapons and the game looks decent. That's about it. Voice acting is awful and the characters that, I guess, you're supposed to care about leave no impression whatsoever. After the introduction level, you can pretty much forget about anyone and everything. But the worst offense is the A.I, or the lack of it rather. You can pretty much walk straight into a group of enemies and they'll not give a ♥♥♥♥. Should you trigger the alarm, which is WAY too easy to do, the enemies will just make a bee-line for your location and allow themselves to get shot one after the other. Also, if you climb up high enough they'll just converge beneath you like a bunch of ants and not react to you shooting at them.

TLDR; This really is a poor mans Far Cry game. Not worth it even at a 80% discount.

An excellent game I never hear anyone mention. Why? It's so puk gaai good! It was a long time ago where a game left such an impression on me and I genuinely got sad when I finished it. I wanted more. And to find out there was an ambitious sequel planned that got scrapped didn't make it better. I want more Wei Shen in my life.

Great story, fun combat, exciting driving, brutal cutscenes and my God the customization is amazing.
All in all; if you're a fan of GTA, Hong Kong action, violence and profanities - do yourself a favour and play this game.
