Game is great, this update is great.

Really cool game.

Really bad Interface. Need to use mouse for a bunch of things even after controller is enabled (which is not on by default). Controller mapping is dumb by default, putting some of the least used abilities on face buttons rather than triggers. In game explanations may as well not be there since you don't have time to read. All they need is the "push button to activate".

Not sure why there is fall damage it doesn't contribute anything aside from annoyance in the vertical design of the stages. And some of the stages are not easy to see what is platform and what is not.

Finally as time goes on the game just gets grindy. I don't mean difficult. Just sort of boring, kiting hp sponge monsters until they die and without any new active abilities beyond your one item feels kind of meh. I hit max difficulty and the excitement of the action just flatlined.

I'll probably give it another go later. Glad I got it on sale.
