Great DLC. Well-thought out mechanics, well worth the price.

The gameplay is immensely satisfying; the transition from Vermintide's melee-heavy experience to Darktide's gunplay is smooth and natural. The enemies are fun to fight, although I do wish there were factions than just Nurgle. (Genestealers in the future??)

If you failed to update your drivers, your performance will be trash. I personally didn't run into heavy lag with my 3060ti, although I did experience multiple crashes.

Other than the beta jank, this game has a bright future, and I'm looking forward to playing it in the coming months.

An excellent expansion to an excellent. The add genes, mechs, and buildings provide additional hours of content and help make each pawn feel distinct and unique.

My only complaint is the lack of integration with previous DLCs; it would be nice if you could make an ideoligion centered around Saungophage worship, for instance.

Other than that, excellent expansion.

First impressions are solid. Combat is very MOBA-like while the survival elements are more similar to Valheim with a vampiric twist.

I recommend it, but you should really try it first on Game Pass. The game is still good, the battles are as tight as ever, and the new factions are fun to play, though a few of them have some small rosters.

I haven't experienced that many issues, but the game definitely runs worse than Warhammer 2, and some of my friends have had the game be practically unplayable. I play this game, and I know that there's some really great and special here, hence my positive review, but I urge anyone on the fence to either play this on Game Pass until it gets some updates, or wait a few months.

Edit: The immortal empires update has fundamentally reshaped the game. That, combined with numerous updates fixing some of the issues mentioned earlier, truly makes this game the definitive Warhammer Fantasy experience we all knew it could be.

Better than sex

Fast combat, satisfying guns, compelling level design. It's all here, it's all solid, and it's a great buy

This is the kind of game that you buy with your friends on a whim and play for a few hours. The novelty/horror fades after the first 30 minutes, and after that, there isn't very much to go off of. The graphics are nice, the lighting is decent, but the game is ultimately like a cake made entirely of icing. After you learn what's happening, the game gets repetitive and boring; balancing issues and a general sense of aimless don't really help.

I might pick this up again if it goes on sale for $5, but anything more than that is seriously pushing it.
