Endearing and enduring. I have played on and off for many years. It's great fun and easy to come back to. Much has already been said about this game, game-play complaints and other grumbles - I've no intention here of leaving a detailed review, it's all been said already. Honestly it's just a really easy (concept) game that has aged well and is fun to play.

Yes I recommend this game - but be prepared for a few headaches if you are a PC gamer.

Brilliant story and characters, beautifully immersive, I loved how the video sections feed into the game play - certainly one of the best tutorials/openings I've seen. Combat is OK but certainly gets better/more interesting as you open more skills. Pathing is a little confusing in places/it is easy to get lost - map is not helpful at all. Lore fans will find lots to love here. Initially i was irked by the lack of character choice (there is none) but Cal is so endearing, it soon becomes a joy to accompany him on his journey.

I have played mountains of Star Wars games and find this to be one of the best - if only it wasn't such ridiculously hard work to actually play it. It's like trying to drive your dream car but two of the wheels are square. Lots of buggy graphical issues in the video sections. If you luck out and hit the jumping-off-the-train tutorial bug it is game-breaking and you have to start again. Game does not translate well to PC at all (clearly designed for consoles only). Most will find they cannot actually play via Steam without finding the Origin work-around.

So many utterly stupid frustrations. I find this to be a great injustice for one of the most wonderfully engaging Star Wars stories to date.

Get's boring quite quickly, very slow and limited content, that said, its not a very expensive game to try.
