Wonderful game.

Way more than a nostalgic dungeon crawler, this has oodles of charm and atmosphere.

Great game held back by an endless list of issues.

Check back in a few months and see what direction the devs are going in.

The most frustrating thing is that there is a gloriously good game underneath all the corporate crap, and if the damage can be undone then i'll edit the review.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Beginners Guide came out in '15, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole game has a clear, crisp narrative, and a new sheen of consimante professionalism that really gives the experience a big boost.

Great local coop. Far more intuitive and easy to pick up than something like Tekken, with enough depth to keep you invested.
