Crytek uses EA Partners publishing arrangements which offer a menu of services, it's similar like Valve and ID Software (before it sold to Zenimax) used, developers own the IP and have full control, but the details of the contracts and services which EA provides for them are different and specific ... other than that ... we can't know much more since it's all confidential.
