My incredibly biased nomination for the Game of the Year Award. It's like Vampire Survivors but with all the best girls instead!

That potion had a funny smell about it and sure enough it made our dear old mother feel blue as it turned her shell pink! The plan to enact vengeance on that dastardly witch and her brews has already been set into motion and we will break into her home when the Spring thaw commences. Something like this can't just go by without punishment, but until then we have to do everything in our limited yet endless power to make Mom proud of us and to give her reason to smile once more. The fast approaching holiday festival will soon be upon us and it is up to us to take the fate of the world into our grip and to have it sparkle or burn as we so desire.

A surprisingly sinister experience with sentient sorbet, ghastly ghosts and a very wicked witch. You are tasked with the challenge of saving your one and only friend Chippy from the horrible fate of expiring deep in a hole while lying helplessly on his back. You must find a way to save him and in your efforts you will be forced to enter and search through the halls of the possibly life-ending Seaberry Keep. Do not let the decor deceive you for this is an endeavor that will test every fiber of your very being. May the tides ever be in your favor and the grasses always greener in your pastures as you plunge head first into hot pink Hell.

Somewhat silly and for sure sexy, a dash of sad with a pinch of sweet. You bring the fetish and we'll bring the feet! In truth there is little nudity, hints of it oui, but not much more. Still worth!

Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is the best battle royale game that 2018 produced, the roll-out is the best of any out there, not even a contest with this one. TABG puts a fun and creative spin on the concept overall, although it may appear lacking at first glance this one really mixes things up with a few minor mechanics such as the floor being lava. It certainly has enough personality to draw you in and keep the seat warm.

This seems like something I'd make if I was more talented, it's weird, funny, sad and depressing. Compared to Bucket Detective this is all entirely normal. Really, go check out Bucket Detective. It is stronger in both graphics and weirdness, or stop now and spare yourself the experience.

My Brother Rabbit has appealing visuals and good sound design. It tells a nice story and puts a bit of challenge up for you to overcome. It comes as another game from a developer that commonly works in this style so if you enjoyed this, or think you might enjoy something a little bit different, follow the rabbit hole and find that game you might like.

The only other Crows Crows Crows game that is available on Steam, much the same feel and length to it! As short as roughly 20 minutes, has some similar comedy but is not as in your face about it so that could be seen as a bit of a shame. But it's free so if you want to hear Justin ramble for 20 minutes then this is for you!!!

For this particular review I'll ask that you 'Bear With Me'... I'll be short and concise, to get you the best idea of what to expect.

The story of a girl, who you'll go bananas for!
Come take a bite, be careful not to go into shock!
When life happens you feel sad, was it chance that saved you perhaps?
Escape into your dreams, but someone comes to take them away.
The truth will come back to haunt you, or is the truth all that can save you?
In the end you'll always be fine, with a good friend by your side no smoke can hope to obscure you.

All in all it was an enjoyable game, had its moments, some good references... A story that takes you one way and then shoots another. Certainly not the story I expected but it really explains some things you know? Art style was obviously nice, film noir, old fashioned... It isn't ground breaking, but neither would be an old book on a shelf... That doesn't make it any less worth reading though, does it?

I started Outlast with hope of a good scare and got mostly that up until the ending where it was revealed to be a government operation gone wrong as opposed to some supernatural force being angry. This didn't sit well with me being an, "I told you so.", kind of ending. It felt better in the DLC because there were a lot less tedious sections in it and a lot more sections of running away from danger as opposed to sneaking and then dying just to start from a checkpoint. The DLC also seemed to add more meat to the story, you actually have some end goal in mind when you compare it to being some random guy looking to score big in the news when he exposes people with money doing naughty things to people without money. Basically getting out was more fun for me than getting in, but it isn't a bad thing to have both sides to get the full story of what was going on. If I lost you the whistle blower is the person who caught the attention of the reporter you play as in the base game.
