Tough learning curve but very fun once you figure out the basics

Why release content that was clearly not finished? If I am to pay $20 for an expansion, then I expect it to be playable. From my experience so far I have had the same events fire for my nation almost 3 times a year giving me either -15 prestige or -100 ducats. I was playing as a native so 100 ducats were not easy to come by. Another game I played had no events fire at all and when I loaded back into the game I had various events pop up at once and I was also at -3 stability. From what I've heard other people say, Sikh mechanics are unfinished and still have the purple devmode icons, Zoroastrian mechanics are just copied from Coptic and get Coptic events for taking cities like Alexandria. Forming nations in Polynesia gives you Generic Ideas. The game apparently crashes in 1502 and 1504 if you do not have other specific DLC's. Let's also not forget the infamous bug that now corrupts your save if you ever concentrated development then decide to click continue when you reload your save. Other bugs to note are the stack overflow errors when developing to absurd amounts, or when you make your Admiral into a leader. I also would not mind the brokenness of natives getting insane development or pillage capital/concentrate development if it weren't for the massive amount of bugs this patch has come with. I have not written a review for any product on this platform so far, but the shear lack of quality control that this release had is enough to warrant one. To anyone considering buying this expansion. Don't. At least not for now. Paradox need to get their act together if they are to release something this ambitious. The game is unplayable in its current state and the best solution is to play on an older patch without the new DLC. It is a shame too. I was really looking forward to the flavor they were giving to overlooked regions of the world but nevertheless here we are. All in all this expansion is a solid 1/10.
