So despite the game having about 1 whole minute of unskippable cut scene at the start of the game, and despite the game being absolutely riddled in unskippable cutscenes throughout with the time distribution about 80:20 unskippable cutscene:gameplay, i find myself running around in a gasmask.

I can't take the gas mask off because i die.
I can't work out where to go because:
1) I can't see clearly through the gas mask
2) there's no map that i can see
3) it's just damn unclear where i'm supposed to go

It's a bit frustrating tbh that there's so much unskippable cutscenes and yet when you actually need some help you've got none whatsoever. Just some hint. Something. But I used up about 5 gas mask canisters running around looking for where i'm supposed to go.

Naturally when i die i've got to fight all the enemies again.

If i rage quit the game i've got to wait for over a minute for the German games manufacturer to stop advertising how awesome it is to me.

German computer games suck. I recognise a lot of these problems with Crysis too.

Just to add to this, it's a really painful game, the game is sluggish, not lag, but it's slow to respond and everything feels heavyweight like the aim, the firing, actions take a long time to perform. It's 60fps. But it's like by the time you fire the enemy has moved, and ofc because you've missed you run out of ammo. There are many situations where running out of ammo is just game over. And what can you actually do? It'll just respawn you in the same place with little ammo.

It's a bit hard to know what to do now, because i can't see how i can continue playing, and it's not obvious if it's possible to get more ammo.

Also some things in the game seem broken. For example i was in a mine car, and i got stuck in it and couldn't get out of it. It wouldn't let me. Also on the mine car level, the mine car got jammed in reverse and went down the track but the mine car was physically still where i parked it. Even though the 3d visuals had moved, the physics had not. Another weird thing on the minecar level was that i found myself climbing up nothing. There was literally nothing there but it was behaving as a ladder and i could climb above the level for some inexplicable reason.

That was a pretty buggy level lol.

Must be a few hours into it now, and the unskippable video sequences are still there. They wont ♥♥♥♥ off and die.

CS:GO Review
It's good until you get to like rank 28 or whatever then literally _everyone_ is seeing through walls, instant heatshooting the instant a pixel of your body comes into view. Like this chap was going around and he had 5-6 headshoots in a row. Okay fine, but then i jump on top of him, and start firing downwards, in a fraction of a second this dude was able to aim vertically upwards and headshot me while i was literally standing vertically above him. Sorry but i don't believe that's legit, not in that time frame.

Too much cheating.

Also needs a dive, crawl function. Also the spawn invincible thing in deathmatch is unfathomable. Some people are running around invincible. If i so much as breath invincibility disappears and i'm instant killed.

Just to add to that, i've got to rank 30. The cheating has intensified.

Why can't we remove the being dominated sound? It's bad enough you've got to put up with cheating, you've now got to hear a sound that you can't disable anywhere in the GUI, you can't modify the game because it's "cheating" you literally can't get rid of this grevious bodily harm to your ears. You're stuck with it. You used to be able to go into a config and disable it, but they disabled that. Damn, just let players disable the sounds they want. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Nice game this, highly recommended. Like a fast paced hexen / heretic, same 8 bit vibe, but with mlook and jump etc.

The 2 seconds of title screen before the game crashes looks nice.

Time for battle! I've forgotten my sword. It's okay though because i have comrades. It's just Kim Kardasian, Nicky Minaj, Cardi B and that hot lady i found in Amsterdam once. But it's okay because they never try to sing, they just find washbasins to bend over suggestively whenever they can.

I just found a pair of knickers on the battlefield.

I give this game 99ZZ out of 38GG.

A couple of suggestions to the developers:
1) The archery is a bit broken, enemy archers at rank 120 can kill you in two shots. Yet the highest bow you can get is rank 11
2) Sometimes (often in fact) it spawns you below the map so you fall forever. This happens about 10% of the spawns - it's quite a lot.
3) Once you get up to rank 120, and the enemy retake towns, they are there with rank 120 archers, and it's just impossible to take back without breaking out cheat engine and giving them a magical beat down.
4) You might consider the cup size getting bigger as you progress through the game...
5) During battle you might want to consider the clothing getting torn to shreds.
6) Also this one time, there was a wardrobe malfunction and cardi b's catsuit was sticking out of the lefthand side of her head, with her boobs jiggling about. Not that i am complaining.

Okay so this is one of the best games i've played in a long time. I've completed the game, apart from getting the "Y" symbol, I know where it is, i just can't reach it.

The flight controls are very good. The interaction with other animals can be quite complex. For example you can kill animals by setting traps, encouraging them to get eaten by predators, or by hitting them with thistles or large stones. You can create birds by hatching eggs, and depending on what bird you hatch, you'll either have more predators that make your life difficult or you can create more peaceful birds. Apparently you can breed rabbits and then use them as bait for predators.

Some animals like magpies and squirrels just like to steal things from you. It's a pain in the ass, but it's what happens naturally amongst birds. Some of the animals in this game are innocent of any curiosity and just want to play.

Visually the game is stunning, what i like about it is that it has its own ethos, its own style. Everything from the ancient runes, to the machines, to the animals to the movement, all stylistically "fits" together. This is important, so many games don't fit together. And many more games don't have a character that you feel an affinity with.

The game itself runs very nicely.

The game doesn't help you, and that's an aspect of it that I like. People complain that they can't solve puzzles, that they don't know what to do. But that's the charm of this, you're created in the game as a wild animal surrounded by many brutal predators, and you're trying to make sense of the world you live in. The natural things make sense, and are intuitive. The machinery and puzzles are not meant to make sense to you in the game, anymore than humanity is meant to make sense to wild animals...

For me that's the whole point. Many games involving nature capture the unforgiving environment and the extent of the mortality in a realistic way, but this is the only game that i've played that's captured the mystery of how humanity must seem to animals.

All in all a small and very charming game which gives a surprising amount of play hours.

It's not a bad game, the main issue seems to be that after a game over the mouse stops working, and it's a bit of a pain to exit the game and enter back into it.

Aside from this, the point of the game is to judge things you can eat, as you eat them you get bigger, if they are bigger than you, then you lose a life.

It's a good game in terms of ideas, but even on the easiest setting that there is it's often frustrating. The problem is that nothing works when you need it to, for example, in vehicals the weapons constantly overheat, and the cool down time seems to take forever. Sometimes when throwing grenades, you can't throw more even though you have more grenades left. Often you die for unexplained reasons, for example i died 3-4 times because i went through a mine field, there was no explosion sound, and i didn't see the mine notices because they weren't that visible.

Also the decision to make the grenade throw button by default, G, right next to the activate / pickup item button, F, often results in hilarious mistakes.

Also when you die, it takes you right back to the start of a mission, i've been trying to get this mission done 4-5 times, and i keep dying about 10 minutes into it. I understand that there's a realism aspect to the game, but this is the easiest difficulty setting possible.

Tanks. It takes one mouse stroke to aim the turret backwards, and 20-30 to move the turret back to the front. Something's seriously wrong there.

Wombraider Underworld 3/5.

Well, i finally glitched my way through this. Controls are erratic to say the least. Like good luck controlling lara when she's on a slope, or 3 seconds after going near the edge. It gets "stuck" and you have to hammer random keys on the keyboard until lara hits a pixel that allows her to jump off in a random direction and die.

Also when you get on a bike, reverse takes 2-3 presses to work, after that it's fine, but just initially it's quirky as hell.

The camera angles are rough as hell, expect the camera angle to suddenly flick round without warning just before a jump causing you to fly off in a random direction and fall 3km to your death, and in some places, the camera was just jammed unable to see anything at all. There were occasions where the camera was jammed up lara's ass.

Also one of the giant spiders after getting killed just kept bouncing around forever.

It's a playable game, barely. For a platformer, you need good controls and good camera angles, this doesn't have either. The controls are inexplicable too, like for some reason climbing fast is E, and yet running fast is shift. Why should climb fast be the action key? I died several times because of that decision. Another weird decision, is lara drops down on horizontal poles the opposite side to the one you expect. Also more often than not when you try and place a block down on a pad, it flies off across the map, this happened 7-8 times in a row. I found that if you put the block down with lara facing you, it's slightly less likely to go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and fly off.

Another thing that's sketchy about this is the autosave, it saves before you kill enemies. Meaning everytime you respawn you've got to kill them all over again and if it then involves a video as well, it's frustrating.

Visually it's pretty good looking. Though nothing like as gorgeous as Anniversary. The enemy mechanics were poor.

Honestly though, the best wombraider i've played so far is Anniversary, that's an absolutely stunning game, the camera angles are good, the mechanics are good, the controls are good. Can't fault it. If you only want one tombraider game, get anniversary not this.
