as someone who is completely new to the Armored Core series, this game rocks and I'd recommend it to anyone who is a fan of action RPGs, dark souls, mecha, or even fighting games. The gameplay loop is deep enough to scratch the itch w/out feeling esoteric or unapproachable, as are the building mechanics similarly structured in a way that's easy to understand yet can get incredibly in-depth.

First few hours have been as fun as any RPG I've ever played and even better than DOS2's excellent introduction. Excited to see what the future holds

Somewhere in making all sorts of skill systems and designing an XP system which requires LITERAL HOURS of in-game AFK time watching your character read a book, watch TV, or hammer planks, the devs forgot make the game fun.

The ultimate action RPG. Don't be afraid to use a wiki for buildcrafting or quests, it's a little obtuse in that classic Fromsoft style. Combat is what you're here for and it's 1000/10. The music and visuals are (literally) GOTY-worthy. A must play that will go down in history with Skyrim-esque industry impact.
