JUST WANT TO START BY SAYING YES I RECOMMEND THIS GAME - BUT NOT AT IT'S FULL PRICE.

**SPOILER WARNING - FURTHER DOWN THIS REVIEW**

Okay the fundamentals of a Far Cry game are there, open world, hunting, free the people & become a hero... however there are a number of game breaking bugs in the game which isn't horrific. just very annoying as it forces you to reload, as well as the AI being inconsistant, I think the only thing all the AI was consistant on was being suicidal and running infront of a moving vehicle.

Now for the missions, I like the basis of them, however the "story missions" got HIGHLY repetetive, but the mechanic of progression is good as it doesn't actually force you to do "story missions" but liberate in your own way. In my case on my next playthrough, blow the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to high heaven.

The Story - Oh boy does the story annoy me a little bit, just want to start this off on a positive note. All the characters are very well acted(Joesph I would argue was equal to or better than Vaas in his delivery of the character) , the dialogue was good and the idea of the story was good. However you couldn't help but get really annoyed with the main villians of the game as some of the decisions they make are absolutely shocking. You get captured approximately 10 times through out the course of the game literally within seconds (at most a minute) of the villians sending a capture party out. If the villians can do that literally, at will and that quickly... HOW ARE YOU EVEN ABLE TO BE IN A POSITION TO FIGHT AGAINST THEM. Never mind though, I think the gameplay (Once fixed) will shine above the story, as I only really thought about the whole of the story after I finished the game (all endings), but for me it was enjoyable but not something I would write a letter about.

There are some more glaring plot holes as well, but I won't go into them as they have already been mentioned below.

Gameplay: 7/10 (Once bugs are fixed 9/10)
Progression: 7/10 (Can get repetitive but gives you a lot of freedom)
Story: 5/10

A good game, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't pay £49.99 for it.

It's amazing how something so simple can bring someone in.
Prewarning, do not think of it as a game, as the title suggests its a Visual Novel.

PROS:
- If you are into eSports, this one is defineatley a go
- I doesn't appear to be from a biased perspective

CONS:
- It will make you want to grind SC2 for 12 hours a day.
- Not any more to watch/read after
