How bout a nice cup of LIBER TEA?

Now as someone who absolutely loves Gears of war and strategy the idea of this game always amazed me, and i thought that this could have been something really special! and even tho i do love some of the animations, graphics and even gameplay it just don't feel the best, it feels very forced and rather then having a super ultra strict story i wish it was more like xcom as in get people, build on a lair or something like that, then find research and new ways to destroy the enemy, as here its sadly feels like your forced to always use the main characters, and once you have done the strict story that's kinda that, "almost" no replay value and i bet some people might love that and that's okay i just always thought this game had the potential to be something really fun so i sadly can't recommend this unless you are a hardcore Gears fan then i bet you still can get some fun out of it

This is in all honestly one of the best strategy game to come out in years. and trust me i have played way to many. it dose feel very different from civ 5 and civ 6 and i honestly love that, ofc having civ 6 with better graphics would have been fun aswell and i can understand people who wanted that instead of this might not be as happy, but getting something different that actually works really well, now that is way more fun! the age system in this game i think is done really well and as you have 3 stages, "Spoiler: First stage is pretty much build your empire, 2nd stage is explore and find new land, then last stage is pretty much win the game To put the game into stages making you focus on different thing while going up the different ages feels very different and fun, no more nations fighting Sticks vs Guns even if that was fun and silly i still like it better this way. the Victory conditions aswell do feel very fun as it gives you missions to kinda work for in every age giving you something to focus on, and god the animations are so nice, actually seeing your units camp around heal and fight really add a lot of atmosphere to the game when playing, also the cultural buildings, armies and design for the different Civilization i think is just absolutely fantastic, i love history so to see that in such great detail is honestly just such a massive personal bonus to me. Overall Graphic and music is also really good, also never had any crashes so far so that is always good to see in a new game

Now lets be a bit more on the negative side and talk about what i really didn't like, for me personally the biggest problem is the bugs, there are some crazy bugs all over the place, Animations not working, Ai not moving like they should, victory conditions not going up, AI giving you cities for just being in war with them, sound bugs, camera bugs. lets just say "a lot" of bugs but bugs can be fixed and i have high hopes for them to fix this in no time! people also complain about the Ui i don't mind the Ui but maybe i just don't see what everyone hate about it, i do recommend turning off the Tutorial after you play once as it can be very annoying as it is kinda right in your face every game. i also do hope the devs add some better info on some of the victory conditions as some of them isn't very clear and maybe balance them more as some of them are
way to easy to do and some take way way way to long. Also being able to Raze a city would be kinda nice.

Even with all that said i still think this is one of the best strategy games to come out in years and i am very happy with it, and im glad i played it before reading all the comments as i can understand some people but this game don't deserve only 50% positive reviews, but hopefully the devs will work hard on it and just keep on making it even better and better with fixes and more content! a 4th age would also be cool more down the line, so if you like games like this and you got the money i highly recommend it! if you do hate bugs maybe wait a bit, after all it do cost a lot, but for a game that can give you infinite joy now and in the future i think its worth it!

This is honestly a really fun orc must die game, i love that every character brings something different to the table and that the buffs and debuffs you get on the maps can really switch up the gameplay, having a grind system aswell where you have to get skulls to make yourself and traps better was really fun, absolutely loved this game. and for people who say this isnt solo friendly i don't agree, i finished this game solo and if a goof like me can do it most people can, just use traps and barricades well as they feel way better here then other orc must die games. only con i will say is that this game feels way to short, i honestly do think they should have had twice the maps and twice the traps for this price. otherwise i was very happy with it and would highly recommend this to anyone who want a Arcade orc must die game or even wanna goof around with friends and murder some orcs

Can you really call this a successor to kingdom comes 1? actually yeah i think so! from my 20+ hours so far i have really been enjoying this game and before this game came out i tried the original game, and i will say i absolutely love the gameplay changes and the combat changes. it feels way better to me and i think the devs did a great job with it. and as for the story, it feels just as good as the original game and that is absolutely what i think we all wanted! Graphics, music, and Sound effect it all adds such a amazing atmosphere making your medieval experience really good. to me i think this is one of the best medieval story/Sandbox games to come out in a very very long time and if you enjoyed the original i have a strong feeling you might really enjoy this! It even got stick Guns!

Now we sadly gotta talk a bit about the negatives around here! and i'm not talking about hans's attitude this time! i'm talking about the bugs, some people say this game has a few bugs "A Few" bugs! idk how often i keep hearing sound bugs or blinking candles or people just despairing while fighting me or even teleporting when walking around, ofc if magic has been added to this game without me knowing it would explain all this! but if it hasn't it can tend to be a bit annoying and frustrating, and even tho i love how the save system is done if the game breaks over and over and over on a mission making you having to even backtrack for a hour you might start not enjoying it as much. now even if this game is really buggy at this very moment, bugs can be fixed and honestly that is my only problem with this game so when they fix that this game is honestly gonna be such a gem!

So now a lot of good stuff and bugs has been said! and yes i think the devs did a really good job with this game, and i would highly recommend this to anyone who loves story games in the medieval ages, so if this sounds good to you then get it! and have a great time! and if you come from the original i have a feeling you will love it or are loving it already! and the price is honestly not to bad for the content you will get, but ofc if you don't like bugs maybe wait a bit and i'm sure they will make this game bugless in no time!

Great graphics, really fun gameplay loop, massive rooster of characters, great music and lovely maps. For sure a great free fps game to put a lot of hours into. Only thing i would chance is some character balancing and matchmaking can be really silly at times. For sure better then overwatch 2 but not better then overwatch 1 was.
