Stellaris has drawn me back in like a captivating black hole after a three-year hiatus. However, upon my return, I found myself facing the onslaught of formidable AI adversaries with fleet powers that felt overwhelmingly superior (3x6k vs my puny 2k around the year 2245). Despite this initial setback, I can't help but be charmed by the addictive nature of the game. While I may have been outmatched by fanatic purifiers and devouring swarms blessed by RNG (finding an Arc Furnace near their home system). Perhaps losing is now part of the fun in the ever-evolving universe of Stellaris. I'll withhold final judgment until I've mastered the mechanics and menus better. For now, I'll reluctantly give my upvote, but who knows what the future holds...

6/9 rounds DMC ended in me seeing an error message and being disconnected from the server.

3/9 rounds DMC i had extreme fun playing it with my friends until one of them inevitably got disconnected.

if you can't wait by all means go play it but i would recommend waiting for fixes
