I wanted to wait until I hit 10,000+ hours in this game before I finally left a review. I've been playing this game since its release, and have gone through all the stages of its development in that time.

The highs, the lows, the VERY lows.

I have some issues with it, as does everyone with every game they play, but I promise if you're on the fence about buying this, jump over. You will get frustrated, angry, and disgusted, but you will also laugh like you've never laughed, make friends you'll meet IRL down the road, AND have a really solid experience that simply can't be delivered on any other title.

Prepare yourself. When you do get this, it WILL become a part of your daily gaming routine.

If you have questions, YouTube & Twitch will be your best friend. This is how I started my own journey until eventually I started streaming my own adventures. Get on, get lost, and allow yourself to learn how quickly things can go good, or bad.

From farming human flesh to survive, hunting grizzly bears, exploring abandoned caves, fighting the brutal hordes of infected, loading into the fabled Project Blackpool(modded) to discover the secrets of T.E.C Corp. and saving as many as you can, you can create a story that offers different opportunities for you every time. You're going to have so much fun on this, I'm stoked for all the newbies. I wish I could go back and start as a new player to fall in love with this title all over again, but all I can do is try to lend a hand to people who haven't tried yet themselves.

I don't want to say much more on this so I don't spoil things, but I've turned on comments to allow anyone to ask me any questions they might have. I'll do my best to be neutral.

Be aware, there ARE issues with this game, but they have slowly dissipated over the years.

Things you can use to help you beginners:

-D/L DZSA Launcher (finds, and D/L's all required mods to play community servers)

-D/L iZurvive (a map app) on your cell phone or open iZurvive on your PC (even though getting lost is extremely fun)

-Utilize Twitch & YouTube to learn how to do things if you can't figure them out on your own

-Follow the Dev team on Twitter if you have an account to stay up to date with progress within the game development

Other than that, I wish you all the best on your adventures in whatever map you dive into.

This game is so simple, and so much fun! I recommend playing this with friends. If you have OCD like me, its extremely satisfying. I also enjoy throwing bloody buckets at the spots my friends just cleaned. Hilarious! 10/10
