Fun vampire survivors-like game which can be played in relatively short sessions. Leveling the 5 stat trees gives a sense of progressions between runs and the upgrade gems can be combo'd for different effects with the same guns. Visuals are nice as well. Overall a bit short but for the price the game is very much worth it.

Great game for anyone that likes CRPGs and which does a good job of telling a story set in the 40k universe. If you're a CRPG who doesn't know Warhammer 40k lore don't worry as all the universe specific terms can be moused over for an explanation.

If you're already a fan of 40k you'll have a blast exploring the peripheral worlds of the Imperium alongside a wide range of companions you can pick up along the way ranging from the dogmatic to heretical including:

a magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus, a sister of the Adepta Sororitas (surprisingly not from one of the Orders Militant so technically not a Sister of Battle), vile Xenos of both the Eldari & Drukhari flavors and even a Battle Brother of Adeptus Astartes

Be warned that this game, though super fun & getting better every update, has the usual CRPG jank that can cause your game or quests to bug out so make sure to save often. Also leveling up each character can take forever if you sit there reading & considering all of the available talents & passives as I do. I'd bet that at least 100 hours of my play time was spent in the level up menu trying to decide what I wanted to pick. Don't worry too much about picking the messing up your build too much though as there is an NPC on the bridge of your ship that you can talk to to re-spec your character.

Another victory for the right side of history

Does what it says on the tin & does it well. If have any interest in turn based RPGs you will get your money's worth out of the game.

tl;dr: Game costs $15 dollars and delivers at least $25 of fun. You'll be loosing money if you don't buy it

Taxi Goes Vroom is a pleasant little collect-a-thon homage with fun movement, maps & collectables with a twist or two to keep things interesting. The visuals are nice, the music is great (the gym song is still stuck in my head) and if the humor doesn't work for you you can hold A to fast forward. Game is on the shorter side probably taking ~10 hours for a mostly complete playthrough which isn't a negative in my book as it lets the game go out on high note instead falling apart halfway through like Yuuka Laylee. The movement mechanics are a unique blend of hotwheels car, early 3D sonic & N64 Mario and have enough depth to make sure you have fun exploring & learning new tricks throughout your playthrough. Someone else mentioned that workshop mods would be a great addition & I agree.

Made a fun game less fun and added a pile of bland items to dilute any fun left. If you enjoy the taste of paste you'll love this expansion.

Tried the demo out at PAX East and was immediately hooked. I can't recommend this game enough!
