I've been playing Halo since 2001, and while I don't agree with how 343 did Halo 4 and Halo 5, I do believe that Infinite is a true return to form. The game play is good, and the gunfights between MKB users and controller users feel fair. The sandbox is fantastic and allows for a strong verity of game play. Truly recommend this game.

Also, if you don't like the game, it's free. So no harm.
Now get out there Spartan.

I am posting this review at 2.5 hours but I have played this game over 6 times, getting each achievement on Xbox 360.

In terms of looks and sound, Skyrim is an excellent game that still holds up to this day even though it was released back in 2011. The game itself doesn't really require anything beefy to play anymore, but some mods really help this game look like it came out 9 days ago, and not 9 years ago. You can't get achievements with modes enabled, but a simple mod can change that (ironic). I suggest that you install the unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, a community made mod that fixes all the bugs that Bethesda decided to not fix even though they released this game like 12 times.

In terms of lore, Skyrim falls really short of Oblivion. The Dark Brotherhood was the best part in the last game, and in Skyrim it is a circus. The blades (Which is the fighters guild in Oblivion) is such a joke, and you can finish it in maybe an hour. The main quest line, I will admit, is slightly better than Oblivion in terms of writing, but in terms of how quickly you can get past it, another joke. The thieves guild is the best quest line in the game by far, the writing is good and the quests are well written. If the rest of the game was like this, this game would live up to all the hype that is still behind it.

The leveling system is so pointless that there is no need to get anything past 50. For example, you can pick any lock in the game once you get to level 15 lockpicking. This makes the whole skill tree useless.

Nitpicking aside, I believe that everyone should at least give Skyrim an honest try. While there are bugs, I would argue that the bugs are part of the charm that the game gives.

Overall: 8/10

The only good thing about this game is that it's funny.
