"Do you still believe myths can save you? Foolish creature.
Let me be clear: every version of the story ends with you being slaughtered"

while playing FF14, derfo chimes in, saying; "do you eat worms, nap", and nap stack, for whatever reason, takes extreme offense to this. she vehemently denies it. she goes on the attack. she throws blame. and everyone starts getting suspicious. does she actually eat worms? and she's flailing because everyone is prodding her. she has become the worm connoisseur over night. now, you know me, I sometimes just say ♥♥♥♥ without thinking about it. often to my detriment. so while it comes up in conversation, I say "well, you shouldn't eat them raw. they're a host of disease. you need to cook them well done." and nap stack, IMMEDIATELY IN AN INSTANT casts all blame from her, onto me and slides ALL ATTENTION onto me. and like a bunch of golden retrievers they forget about her, in an instant. and suddenly I am the worm diner, and she begins kicking me while I'm down where just minutes ago, it was her, getting her ass kicked. anyways nap stack is a weasel

I actually fully explored Gorbengolt's backstory across countless psychadelic quests. I participated in the original Spellguard experiments that mutated him, contained him, and deployed him against extremely unlucky citizens. I encountered "Chequon" and its mystical "Red Tide" which could fill a supplicant with unfathomable rage. Chequon, of course, being a villain from Gorbengolt's prequel story before coming to Sanctuary. But it would only be toward the end of Gorbengolt's long journey that we would finally rescue his son from the villainous clutches of Chequon. However, the Spellguard's substance implants had mutated him so severely at that point that he was unable to hold the boy in his hands. He wept as we brought the child to the orphanage controlled by the very wizards who ruined his life. And then he killed himself.
