Incredible game. Short but sweet and a roller coaster from start to finish.

My love for EDF outweighs my hatred for Epic Games.

However, after playing through it completely I can say for certain that this is the greatest EDF experience I have ever had.

One of the most fun games I have ever played.

I decided to, with no prior experience, do my first run on RAGE difficulty and man that was difficult but I persevered to beat all the campaign and side missions in about 15 hours. This game has incredible mechanics, feel, gunplay, atmosphere, everything. A true spiritual successor to F.E.A.R. that absolutely lives up to the title. I had very few or no issues with bugs or stability during all my playtime. This game is nothing but non-stop fun.

I firmly believe that the first FEAR game was a 10/10 masterpiece. FEAR 2 on the other hand feels like a failed abortion materialised itself into code and shat itself out into the world. The only scary thing about FEAR 2 is that somehow, somewhere, somebody thought this level of quality was acceptable to be released. Everything that the first game did right, FEAR 2 did horribly wrong. FEAR 1 had incredible atmosphere, guns that felt good, enemies that were fun to kill, good character interactions, all sorts of things that gave it soul. FEAR 2 strips that down to nothing and serves it on a platter reminiscent of mid 2000s era console games. This port isn't even well done, you can't bind side buttons on your mouse and the sensitivity when set to lowest was still way too fast to be playable. I had to go into my mouse drivers and drop my DPI to one quarter of what it normally is and it only then was it tolerable (1200 -> 300 DPI). I only played this game because I was determined to finish the series and I am so glad it only took 4 hours to slog though this.

Tl;dr don't buy this game. Play the original FEAR and do not touch the rest of the series.

Incredible game. Bought it just for the campaign but the multiplayer is really fun too. You will have no regrets if you buy this game.

One of the greatest games I have ever played. Grab a bunch of friends (you do have friends, right anon..?) man the sub and start going. You can easily play this with a crew of any size from a few souls on an Orca to 10+ on the Kastrull, nobody is left out with here. Some of the best moments I have ever experienced happened in this game. From our Security Officer "accidentally" launching a nuke point blank and obliterating half the ship to gunning down entire stations full of clowns with a hearty crew, this game has plenty to offer.

I highly recommend this game to any and all souls that wish to brave the seas of Europa.

This game is incredible, had me hooked real good. Not without its flaws, but very enjoyable solo and with friends. The image below speaks louder than anything I can write, really. None of that time was AFK. Do the math yourself. God Bless not having social obligations due to COVID-19.
