I did not have high hopes for this game. I knew it's not going to be as good as everyone said. To be honest, the game exceeded my expectations to a certian point. However at the end it turned out to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
If you like Witcher 3 you are going to like this game as well. But it is definitely worse than W3 when it comes to almost every aspect - the fighting mechanics are whacky, especially when it comes to melee weapons. Guns are handled pretty well. Hacking mechnics aren't extensive but they are ok. Ai is terrible. It's literally unacceptable to put something like this in 2020 in AAA game. Driving felt clumsy at first but after I got used to it, it was actually well made. CDPR was always great in storytelling. It was this huge gem in their crown. And it's still shining as it used to. Or so I would said if not for the terrible way they handled the ending. Bugs are just funny however irritating from time to time - I had to restart 2 missions because I bought double jump and it bugged missions. The best aspect of the whole game is the way they handled worldbuilding and the map itself - it feels real, alive, everything makes sense - it's a typical anarcho-capitalistic world.
Characters are great especially Johnny, Takemura and Kerry. It's really good that the game didn't focus too much on the main antagonist - because it's a reeeally weak character.
I don't want to end it on a sour note. It really is a good game. It has its flaws. Many, many flaws. I am dissapointed to say it but it would be a nice 8.5/10 if not for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending. Ehhh...
