Refunded the vault edition after playing the beta because I didn't feel like what i'd played was worth anywhere near that kind of money. After Warzone 2.0 has released and spending quite a few hours playing it, I can hands down say I'm so glad I didn't pay for this game.

The initial release was bugged beyond belief, looting barely worked, felt very clunky and even experiencing those things was a pain what with the countless crashes, steam disconnects and dev errors that would kick you from game.

Even now after a couple of patches, the game is still broken in ways that will just frustrate the hell out of you and make you want to pry your eyeballs out from their sockets with a rusty tea-spoon.

Here's a list of what me and my friends have experienced:

Crashes - They are constant, random and there's a whole plethora of different flavors, dev errors, application error with crash to desktop, steam disconnect, kicked from party / lobby because "you don't have the required DLC" even though you're playing wz2.0 that is free and requires no dlc.

Recon Drones & Tac-Camera's are bugged - using them will just disable your player. All you can do is drop your loot for your team mates, hope to be killed and maybe you will get a chance to be bought back. Imagine the frustration of being in the final circles after a ton of intensive battles, a single teammate who is making it through with terrible ground guns, gets some absolutely clutch kills and finally some good guns from downed enemies, getting the buy back for other team mates and then sending up a recon drone to now be suddenly stuck on the recon drone screen with controls disabled with the gas coming in and that's the end of your game. It's exactly the same for Tac-cam's.

Disappearing loot from boxes in end circles - Say you're one of the two players that just got bought back in the example above. You now begin start to run around opening caches to find gear, only for the loot to literally DISAPPEAR as it hits the ground.

Broken Damage - There's a few videos circulating online about this, but essentially the damage is fully bugged, it's not fair across the board:
-I've had gulag's where I've been shooting the guy point-blank and the bullets literally don't register. I'm talk like 8 shots fired point blank, not a single one registering only to be hit twice with a p890 and die.
-It will take you 3 melee hits to kill people, yet for some reason it ALWAYS takes them 2 hits?, even when full plated.
-You will receive notification that a players plates are broken during a gun battle and they kill you, but yet when you see on their kill-cam, THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ANY PLATES ON.

Ability to steal gun skins - Player showcase was bugged, so people were able to steal the best gun camos from other people who were using them on their showcase, without have to do any of the camo challenges.

Precision Strikes: there's no roof thick enough to protect you from these. You could be inside a nuclear bomb shelter, deep in the earths mantle, and these things will still find a way to hit you. Standing anywhere near a door, downed. Standing on the bottom floor of a two story building? doesn't matter, downed.

Not a bug but a general criticism - the menu's are god awful to look at.

There's plenty more issues with this game and far too many to list...

It's just so rage inducing and not even in the classic COD way. I don't mind the slower rate of play, not having the "advanced movement", but holy moses at least make it work. to charge the m,money they are for this game and how broken it is is really an insult to the player-base.

Overall, would not recommend right now - not until they wake up and actually start fixing the game where it matters.

Overall it's pretty decent, but it doesn't quite capture that same feeling that GW2 had. If you're just looking to scratch that itch, it'll do, but you'll probably need to dust off your 360 if you want the proper GW2 experience as the GW2 modes just don't feel as good / intense.

Is rly fun n gd, bit pricey tho.
