I don't normally review games on here, but Abiotic Factor surprised the hell out of me in the absolute best of ways. I played Early Access for 231 hours, taking my time, exploring everything, getting stuck at one point and not knowing how to advance. (hint: I get blasted by a turret) It didn't matter. I had so much fun running around in the world that I just kept doing it, hoarding materials, killing things over and over. This game is an absolute GEM, and I am a gigantic fan of Deep Field Games for taking what on the surface looks like outdated graphics, but twisting everything in a way that absolute sucks you in. I have not had a game in recent memory that I would be at work, and thinking about, wishing I was able to be home playing it. That is my ultimate way of knowing that a game is something special. Deep Field Games, THANK YOU! Please don't lose your creativity, and dedication to being different, it is something that, at least in my opinion, is gone in modern gaming.

Amazing game, but the crashes need to be fixed. The same problem existed in Beta, so this is not a new issue since release.

I was one of the original backers of this game, as I had played the original Ultima Online (at release on), as well as Tabula Rasa (before they shut that one down). This game was sold to us as "Ultima Online 2.0", and then that was changed... The game is nowhere near what it should be with the money these money grabbers had. I will never again trust Garriott, and he will never get another dime of mine.

This game is/was a SCAM. The proof is in the forums, the "lead Dev" left to work on another project, after getting way over 2 million $ for this buggy POS. As far as I am concerned the 2 devs can die in a fire after getting raped by an elephant.
