Did all bosses in less than 10 attempts each with powerstance greataxes, then I failed the final boss hundreds of times without knowing that summoning the helpers actually multiplies his hp, did him without them - took me 6 tries.

Whole DLC was peak, but Bayle and Igon are the highlight

The DLC also looks even prettier than the base game in a few areas
I wish there weren't performance issues, but otherwise this is one of the greatest experiences I've had playing any game and there's plenty of cool new stuff to try out too, ez Fromsoft W

It's a lot of fun

Main story was generic JRPG stuff, fate episodes(characters' personal stories) kinda redeemed the story content in the game, but their presentation is bland - prob my biggest gripe with the game as a granblue enjoyer; There were some flashy moments and cool minigames in the main story tho so + for that

Core gameplay is a mix between MH/Tales/FF14, feels very responsive and all the chars I've played are distinct and a blast to play with, the link system combined with everyone using their special attacks consecutively for a big combo explosion feels very rewarding to pull off even though it's not hard at all - it just feels satisfying

Voice acting to me is a big part of this game as all characters interact with every other character mid-fight, because of that the fights feel a lot more teamwork-oriented and all the lines fit every char's personality perfectly, that being said I think this is only applicable for the JP version of the game as it's just stacked with insanely good VAs - if you feel like you can understand some JP or want to play in JP then this will be a + for you, if you choose the EN dub I think this will detract from your experience

Progression is smooth and upgrades don't really take more than a few runs until the final parts of the endgame, boss variety is slightly short of where it should be, but most of the bosses offer a good challenge or are at least fun to fight, with some having special interactions that make the fight easier

Overall I'm having a great time with the game and I think it is solid, well polished, looks really good with its unique artstyle despite having lower fidelity graphics, plays smooth as butter and I can weeb out all I want when I listen to my fav chars from the franchise completely pop off in a proper 3D environment
7 years of wait, worth every minute and every penny

Fighting game noob playing on keyboard for 20-ish hours went like this:
1st hour - 'what are these cursed controls, how is this playable'
2nd & 3rd hour - adjusting keybinds and trying stuff out in training mode(can barely do inputs)
4th & 5th hour - goofing around with friends but starting to hit our first combos
6th hour - getting rolled by gamers in online lobbies(Nier ragdolled me for 15 seconds to death)
7-10th hours - finally getting some good wins in there against my better friends and getting familiar with the systems, having a blast learning

and all the rest up to the 20th hour have been my most memorable experiences of this year with my friends, can't wait to play more and I fell in love with the game so much that I had to buy it even though it's ridiculously expensive for someone from an underdeveloped country like me

The free version is very generous and has a big chunk of the content unlocked - most locked things are cosmetics, so I'd recommend it to anyone keen on trying out a fighting game and if you like the art/characters then there's even more to enjoy, as all of them are pretty quirky and have fitting(for their character) interactions with everyone else

Overall a banger of a game and something that reminded me how good it feels to have a proper adrenaline-filled fight, that also gives me a lot of flashy attacks to use or look at

After playing 700 hours, I feel like the game's pretty flawed, but fun with friends or if you have someone who's at your skill lvl to play against, but maybe that's just fighting games in general

It's free even though it has the attention and care for detail that one'd expect out of a paid game. More colorful than VS or HoT, but with less systems, has more casual mechanics and is easier to get into unless the artstyle/vtubing is a deterrent and I think even for someone completely oblivious to all the references and jokes put into the game it's still a great time as it plays smoothly and has a great soundtrack

Some things it does better than DD1, others it does worse:
+ Combat flows better and the animations look better, albeit overall a small upgrade after the novelty wears off
+ Character specific stories are amazing and probably the main selling point of the game in my eyes, as all of them are done with a lot of appreciation for the character and are perfectly in tone with the game
+ Unique written dialogue lines for each item in the game per character, adding a lot of flavor to everyone

- Progression is worse than DD1, as you have Candles which are an unlock currency that gives you incentive to grind, so that your characters(and their available skills)/global item or trinket pool increase, which in turn makes the game feel like you're starting off with less and trying to get to the part where you have options. Even after getting said options, you still need to spend Candles to keep your same party after a successful run, otherwise it's back to square one - the game plays like a true roguelike where everything resets, unlike DD1 which had the Hamlet where you could keep multiple rosters up at all times and manage them accordingly
- Relationship system makes or breaks runs, if you have negative relationships it's extremely easy for you to lose control and for everything to spiral into a lost run, while positive relationships feel mandatory and in some cases trivialize the game. This system replaces the Virtue/Affliction system of DD1 and it feels like an oppressive mechanic
- Character balance seems off to me as I always feel like I should use the same few parties to deal with everything(and the same skills), compared to DD1 where I had a variety of teams for different situations
- Mobile UI clutters the whole screen, uncomfortable to move through and get to the important info without multiple presses in most cases
- Exploration feels very limited and devoid of variety, as they removed all the knowledge checks from the first game that kept you guessing(or googling) and with them all the preparation that went into each run
- Trinkets feel like a weird combo setpiece in some cases and actively detrimental in most cases, makes them feel pointless to use

~Some of the zones feel amazing, while others lack detail or there's just empty space - Sprawl and Tangle are very dense and feel immersive(although Sprawl needs more building variety imo), but Foetor and Shroud feel mostly empty
~Music is hit or miss, it has a different vibe than the 1st game, but I still like plenty of tracks as they do feel in-universe, but there are no tracks that give me that same sense of dread as just entering a new place in DD1 gave me the first time, the tension isn't here outside of combat as well due to lack of random encounters
~Buff/Debuff tokens force you to play around them as they're too strong of a mechanic, so they ruin skill variety in order to make chars more self-sufficient without trinkets
~Kingdoms is a solid gamemode that somewhat simulates a Hamlet from the 1st game, but it needs polishing and more mechanics to truly shine - right now it's just ok(with an overtuned boss)

All in all, if you're going to play a Darkest Dungeon game, 1st one is better, but this one expands the individual character stories and I think they're exceptional, but I'd recommend the game on a sale as there are too many problems with it imo

A sports game/visual novel hybrid with multiple ways of customizing your team's abilities that shines with its sense of adventure and camaraderie, which comes from the quest for freedom and some mini-events that you get along the way that let you see more of the characters that you meet, ultimately leading to you understanding them as people. Has many story bits that I really liked, loved the soundtrack and although I didn't really think much of the actual gameplay on my first playthrough, I really enjoyed it on the True Nightwing difficulty, which is pretty much 'hard mode new game+'

Overall, I think Pyre has one of the most satisfying stories and endings(once you figure out a few things and get to that specific one) that I had the joy of experiencing and striving towards. A game that shows the bonds between people, while also showing many different perspectives on freedom and what it means to those who believe in them

A masterpiece and Supergiant's best game overall at the time of writing, combining all the great aspects of their previous titles and melding them with exceptional precision and style. The only reason not to play this game is if you dislike top-down hack/slash games as the core gameplay revolves around that. It's by far the best roguelite/like I've played and I consider it a must-play for any roguelite/like fan

Extreme Measures 4 is awesome

A serene resource-management game with beautiful pixel art and an atmospheric soundtrack.
I recommend New Lands rather than Classic as it has unlockable extra content and more interactions in general to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time and wants to play a simple medieval/fantasy game just to unwind after a hard day.

The game that manages best to fill the player with adrenaline to such an extent that you might even faint. So be ready for the absolute carnage and obliteration of everything on your screen(given you're good enough not to die on the first floors, because the game doesn't pull many punches) and for the bullet-hell-like situation you'll find yourself in as you play more and more.
Nuclear Throne is very easy to pick up, it has extremely fast sessions(depending on how fast you go, or how fast you die, obviously) and it is the perfect game for someone who just wants to blow everything/everyone(even him/herself) up. While it doesn't have a detailed story, it still has some snippets here and there from which a person could come up with his own theory(though very limited, I must admit). It has a wide variety of weapons, characters, mutations(level-ups) and secrets.

All in all, the game offers hours of fun and it's not hard to get into.
