This game was absolutely fantastic when it first came out back in 2007. The art style, the tactical TEAM combat, the unique characters, just doesn't exist anymore. The game now is full of narcissistic hat-worshipping basement dwellers that make you question your existance. The developers just don't really give a flying f'uck about it anymore and just want to milk the huge cash cow teets of useless pixels that people just drool ponds over. The scale of skill amongst players is so huge, that it drastically changes the way the game is played. Any chance of fun in this game is ulitimately ruined by people who are so good at a game, that you want to take pity on because of how unpopular this game is to the entire internet community. Every time I go back into the game, I want to expect something drastic has changed, but, I end up coming out with frustration and disappointment. The side-grades to the stock weapons are mostly useless but sometimes are necessary upgrades. Players in every game always want to WIN, if they cant win, then they try and scramble the teams. If they can't scramble the teams, then they leave, making it even more frustrating when playing the game with less players.

On the other hand, if you do manage to be good enough in the game somehow. There are competitive scenes in this game and in a sense, can be fun. But, this is something that the game doesn't want you to find out, it wants you to be a useless drone that will just pour out money for hats that you cant see literally 90% of the time.

So if you are interested in not having any fun, losing faith in humanity, and wasting space on your hard drive. Then Team Fortress 2 is the game for you!

This game is so unbalanced to new players, it isnt even funny. Apparently, you must constantly die for new weapons that seem to do almost nothing most of the time. On the bright side, the destructible environments are pretty sweet.
