I honestly enjoyed this more than the new Tomb Raider games.

Disappointing. I say that as a huge fan of the first two seasons. Telltale has some good things going in this game in terms of character writing and gameplay choices, but the characters as a whole lack that spark that makes them memorable. The result is a story that lacks the suspense and emotional impact of the other seasons. There are a few gems, but the overall tone of the character writing feels too realistic--until it isn't. The result is jarring. A mustache-twirling villain worked in Season 2 because of the tone of the game. Here it seems forced and ridiculous. The pacing is also too fast. It's just not a very good game. You'd be better off treading a summary and picking up Season 4 when it comes out, which Telltale is promising will rectify the mistakes they made in A New Frontier.
