Early Access Review
I'm 19 years old and I've been playing games for as long as I can remember. I've played a lot of really good games, and I've played a lot of really bad games in that time. I can say with confidence that this game is by far the worst game I've ever played.

The gameplay, when it works, is amazing. The thrill and combat in this game is by far one of the best experiences I've had with friends.

This game reeks pure mediocrity. The amount of bugs in this game is actually impressive. The very first match I played I couldn't see anyone but everyone could see me. I thought that was weird, so I restarted my game. Same thing... Okay, so I google it and see that in order to fix it, you have to delete your character and make a new one. Not a big deal since I just bought the game, but I would've been really upset if I actually had to delete my character if the glitch had happened to me after a few weeks of playing on it.

After that, every server started lagging. I could not join a single game without me and my friends lagging. We could not play one game without lagging, and finally after an hour the servers started working.

Lastly, the nail in the coffin just happened to me today. I was playing like normal, ALT Tabbed to turn off a stream, then ALT Tabbed back into the game, and my cursor was floating on the screen as if I was in the menu. I couldn't turn my character at all, and eventually I was able to fix that issue by going into first person (T) and going back out to third person. I thought everything was okay then, but when I went to access my inventory my cursor didn't reappear. I tried everything. I ALT Tabbed, spammed Tab, pressed Escape, and no matter what I did I could not get my cursor to reappear on the screen. I was frustrated at this point, but I thought I could still live without accessing my inventory with my friends around me to give me supplies when I needed them.

NOPE

I couldn't shoot
I couldn't aim down the sights
I couldn't pull a pin on a grenade.
The only thing my mouse could do was turn my character.

I was livid at that point. This game costs $20 and it has so many glitches that it barely passes as an Early Access game. This game has been for almost two years since the initial release date of 1/15/2015, and it feels as if DAYBREAK doesn't care. How can a game that's been out since then have so many problems?

And that doesn't include the little things, either! This game is chock full of floating items, and the controls interfere with each other. Why is the default key E to make my bandages and to use my medkit?

What kills me is that the company DAYBREAK has made EverQuest and Planetside 2, both really fun and enjoyable games. I don't understand how a company that gives us games like that can also poop out a game like this. They should honestly be ashamed, putting their name on a game like this.

While I will give this a negative review, I will continue to play because my friends play it, and I will update this as I find more glitches.

Save your money.
