Early Access Review
I can confirm I can't do horror in VR.

10/10 would refund again.

Very fun game. The charm of the art style and the overall theme of an intern working for a failing company is very cool. Pretty balanced rogue-lite, and the little side quests with your co-workers is fun. Took me about 8 hours to beat the story mode, but there's still more to do. very compact game but very strong.

When you have an ending that says "You have wasted 110 minutes of your time" it doesn't particularly make me feel good about playing your game. Waste of my time is right.

Early Access Review
The first Ziggurat was the first rogue-lite to get me hooked. Being an FPS on top of it with tight movement, weapons, and upgrades that you could understand what they do (looking at you Binding of Isaac) was a huge find for me. I had no idea this was coming out until a week or so ago. Totally excited for it, and it hasn't disappointed. TL;DR If you liked the first game, just buy this. It's so much better and refined.

The first hour or so is pretty difficult, with you not having a lot of weapons or upgrades. But as you keep trying, you'll soon be able to steamroll the dungeons without issue. Energy Blaster is the best.

The amount of content for Early Access Day 1 is amazing, tons to do and unlock. No issues with bugs, outside of frame drops. Graphically, it got a huge upgrade and looks very pleasant. The changes to the core gameplay is amazing and feels like a great step forward towards refining what Ziggurat 1 already had. Keeping things fresh with changes to dungeons, now in the form of quests to take on smaller dungeons (instead of always one repeating dungeon from the first.) The new weapons (the wizards can wield guns, enough said) and upgrade system (using coins to gain more health, damage, or passives) is great and feels great to progress with.

I can't say enough good things about this. If you liked the first, just play this. You'll love it.

I've been wanting this since forever. Now finally Nightdive Studios has done the game justice, with reduced fog and increased draw distance, fov, graphic options, and of course the game works on modern systems at a good 60 fps. I've had some drops here and there, but only for a second. May get patched, idk it's rare so far.

But now I can finally say...
