10/10 game that makes feel like a badass and yet still terrified for your life at the same time.

Sins of a Solar Empire was a 10/10 game.

Really fun premise but a little to simple. Pretty much everything needs to be expanded upon a bit more.
Also give me the option to make buildings out of gold! I can't make a golden city in a game called the Golden city maker!
The ability to spawn resources nodes seems broken. It's far to easy to have endless everything.
I did have fun for the time I played but after about 9 hours I already feel like I've experienced everything there is to do in the game. Giving it a tentative thumbs up as I did have fun and I feel like I did get my moneys worth but I'd definitely like the game to get more updates.

I was going to buy every DLC no matter what so this saves me a bit of money.

I see a lot of people comparing this to Xcom 1 or 2 but reality this game is a lot more like Xcom: Chimera Squad.
Really fun so far, I got it yesterday and I played 19 hours. Story is good but the dialog is a little cringe at time and the voice acting is not great but it's better than no voice acting.

2.9 Hours in and the game has crashed to desktop six or seven times. The game would likely be enjoyable if I could play for more than 15 minutes without having to redo the part I just played. I tried all fixes I can find and nothing is working so now I will try turning to the mod community to see if that works. If it doesn't then I might just give up gave is not enjoyable if I can't play without constant crashes.

Edit: After installing some mods I can say it's finally working. However the fact that mods were needed to make the game work means I cannot recommend the game in it's current state.

I've decided not to refund the game because I see a lot of potential for a good game here that being said the game is in a terrible state right now. I played the tutorial and everything was fine but when I was done and started a new career. I build a doctor's office, a waiting room, a pharmacy and a research lab, I start researching normal cough medicine.

Somehow my scientist manage to turn himself into a zombie while researching cough medicine? The police became alerted and stormed my building and murdered all of my staff. This was literally 10 minutes into a new game. I hadn't even started thinking about doing anything illegal yet I was running a perfectly legitimate pharmacy. Even after the incident with the zombie was resolve the police were still chasing and gunning down my staff in the streets.

Edit: A hotfix has resolved the issue with police aggression however the game still seems incomplete and lacking certain features I hope will be coming in the future like the ability to stop people from wandering into your secret illegal underground labs cause apparently we can't lock doors or put staff only signs up and cough medicine still carries a risk of zombification when being researched.

The game tried really hard to be funny but it's actually just really cringe. All the jokes fall flat and the attempts at comedy ruin the "villain" experience for me. I want to be feel like I'm Sauron destroying the world and the game just doesn't give that feel. The narrator never shuts up and is annoying as hell for me. The constant 4th wall breaks just irritate me as well. I really want to like this series I am a hardcore fan of Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2 and I actually enjoyed dungeons 1 and 2. However 3 and 4 just aren't doing it for me. The games just keep getting sillier and sillier and I want a more serious experience. I've decided to refund this one after the 1 hour mark as I simply and not enjoying myself.

Fantastic game! Really fits the Starship trooper Feel from the movies. The Editor is awesome and thanks to player made content you will never run out of missions to do.

Got the game when it was 70% and I feel like it was just barely worth it even at that price. Went trough and played all the Need for speed games recently and this one would be close to the bottom of the list if I rated them from most fun to least fun. This game doesn't do anything new that previous title do but it lacks features that were in previous titles such as drag racing and off-road racing. The cops are also ridiculously present around every corner in the entire city and you need to escape from them after almost every single race so you end up spending 70% or more of you're time playing this game running or hiding from cops. No fast travel and at the end of the game they start to take away your safe houses so you need to travel longer to go back home increases the chance that you get into more chases. I was going to make a pros and cons list for this game but I couldn't come up with a single thing to put in the pro list.
